We hired Joe to stop the water coming into our cold room, as soon as he came he said he knows what the issue is and that it will cost $700-$900, when I asked details about why he thinks this is the best solution, (because n other contractor gave a different solution) he got very uncomfortable and upset, he said "I know what I am doing, if you don't what to hire me, I have plenty of other projects".
We later called to ask if he will offer a warranty on the work, he said, yes a written one.
We then asked him to come and do the job, he removed our patio stones and did what he had to do, and put it back in a very bad way, it looks really bad now!
We were not happy with the job, but felt that we just want the leak stopped, when the time came to pay he did not want to give us any paperwork, and no writer warranty, and he got very upset that we are asking for it in writing!
The next day it rained, the water was coming to our cold room, in the same amount. We called him, again gave us the attitude as if he is doing us a favour by coming over, he then decides to put some silicon on the other side of the entrance to stop the leak. The silicon is not meant for outdoor! And looks very ugly, now we paid $800 for a 3 foot strip of cheep silicon!
Very unhappy customer.

Sorry for the late respond, but what you said, is not true. we agreed to waterproof 2 sides of the cold- room , for $ 800,and we did what we agreed , when we finish, we got paid $ 750. That’ why we refuse to give you a writing warranty ,,, even s when you called again that it’s leaking again, we come back and see it , and it was leaking from the third side , which it needs just a little caulking , so we did apply the caulking and we did not charge you any penny since it’s Not big deal . If the color of the caulking you and your wife did not like, we are sorry, but we choose and used the caulking that will work for the foundation.
The imported thing is we are confident of our work and we stand behind our work .
