After one heating company not only removed a part of our boiler and took the part away, and then walked away from the job saying they can't fix it, I found Coretemp on the web. I gave them a call and Richard indicated they would be there in the morning. They arrived as planned but I failed to tell them it was a boiler and not a furnace. He said they don't usually work on boilers but took a quick look. He then called a guy he says works on biolers and made arrangements to have him contact me and he repaired the boiler as soon as the part was delivered. Richard, did not charge for his trip out or taking a look at the problem. I would not hesitate recommending Coretemp to anyone who needs furnace repairs.

These guys are real pros - Richard, the owner, came out personally and walked me through the whole project, removing and replacing my old furnace, installing new furnace, and humidifier - we were so impressed we bought a central air unit (our first one!) from him also. As soon as the job was completed, and I walked inside i could immediately feel the difference with the humidifier and air flow - great , great job and highly recommend them - sincere and honsest guys.

Richard from coretemp was fantastic at helping me over the tele, and at the end cost me no money. Richard took the time to walk me through and diagnose a problem that might otherwise required a service call. I had a hot water tank that I paid rent to Direct Energy for 30 yrs., It ruptured. Direct Energy said it would be 3 to 4 weeks before they could replace my tank. I then hired another company to put in a Rinnai tankless. They have since gone out of business and sold their business to Atlas. My tankless stopped working after 2 yrs and Atlas would not fix it. I luckly found Richard with CoreTemp who came the same day I called. He showed me the problem and why - incorrect installation by someone who did not know how to install. Richard put in a replacement while he took my Rinnai and fixed it. Rick then brought back my tank within a week and installed it to the building code. It works very well. I think Rinnai should know that this is installer is knowledgeable, professional and reliable. I trust CoreTemp and have recommended them to a few people.

Richard is great!! He responds almost immediately if I call and always comes quickly!! I respect his opinion and he never tries to up sell you!! My furnace broke down in the middle of the winter and he came very quickly!! He is fair and a very nice guy!!

Richard and his team provided excellent service. Installation in our fairly old Toronto house barely detached house was not easy and Richard tried to solve the challenges with great effort. CoreTemp readily answered calls and Richard came back to do a detailed review once the heating and water had been installed for a few weeks.

I had a new Ruud furnace and Rinnai water heater put in this past July. So far my wife and I are very happy with the hot water through the entire house. Even while the washer was running, someone taking a shower and dishes being washed. We are impressed with the heat coming from the furnace, especially how quiet the variable speed fan was when it is running. My son's room that was normally colder than the other bedrooms before feels alot warmer now. Also the few days we used the A/C in the summer we noticed how more even the temperature was. I guess that fan motor makes a big difference. On day of Richard arrived on time to start the installation and well equipped to do the job. Once they were finished working, the work area was throughly cleaned up and garbage taken away with them. I would strongly recommend using Coretemp because of their professional and courteous attitude.

I called Richard[Coretemp]as our furnace quit on us.Not only was Richard helpful over the phone...he came to our house within a couple of hours to take a look at the furnace.It needed to be replaced as there were cracks in it.Richard explained everything in great detail to us and being very pleased with his knowledge and professionalism we decided to get the Rinnai[tankless water heater] also.Richard and his workers did a great job with the installations.Richard has even called us a couple times to make sure everything was O.K.I would definately recommend Coretemp to anyone in need of a new furnace or even servicing their old furnace.Thanks Richard and the guys for a job very well done.
