My garage door opener finally stopped working after decades of use. I found Candor through a friend whom had a pleasant experience.

When I first called Candor, Jorge was polite and most importantly, he was punctual and kept his appointment. When he assessed the issue, he took the time to explain the problems and my options.

I priced around a few other contactors, and although there were cheaper options, I felt more comfortable using Candor.

I highly recommend Jorge and company to anyone looking to find a reasonable price and excellent customer service. Jorge coordinated with us on our new garage build and in spite of a varying schedule due to permit and inspection delays he came out with 24 hours notice to help us dry in and weather proof our garage before the real weather set in.

From the quote through completion, I was very satistifed with the contractor. We got three quotes, they were the best. They did a great job, quickly and followed up with some small discrepancies quickly afterward. I won't need another garage door, but if I did, I would hire these guys.

Candor replaced our two garage doors a few weeks ago and provided exemplary service from beginning to end...and beyond! After sending out quote requests through home star, George was one of the first business to respond. His professionalism and knowledge was outstanding, clearly explaining what could and could not be done and giving fair recommendations. He was prompt to our meetings and always followed through on messaging and sending pictures of work that he had completed. He went so far as offering to take a picture of our front exterior and modifying it to show the door colour choices when I could not decide. His prices were very reasonable and competitive. He also quoted us for capping the garage door frames.

Once the order was placed, communication lines always stayed open. It would take a few weeks for the ordered doors to arrive from the manufacturer and I asked if we would get it before the labour day weekend. I was so pleased when the installation call came the week before labour day :-). They worked with me and my very crazy schedule to get it done when I was available and as expected, took about 3-4 hours for the install. It was appreciated that they cleaned up after the work was done. I was left with a really nice looking set of new garage doors and an instant facelift for my house.

The quality of the garage doors was such an improvement to the horrible 12 year old builder doors. I immediately saw the superiority of the product. Very quiet and the colour really worked well with my bricks. Thank you for the great suggestion. No regrets! My father in law was so impressed and now will be doing his doors too with Candor. When I got home from work, the new garage door was already installed. Wow! Their work is very clean and neat. The colour and texture of the garage door is exactly what we wanted. We are very satisfied with the work they did.

Jorge was very helpful in assisting with helping me make the decision on selecting the door that best suited what we were looking for. My main goal was that it had a good insulation value. Second was the door style and the right color combination. Since I am a visual person, Jorge was able to assist in the decision making, by demonstrating the different door styles and color combinations, using an application on his laptop. I found this extremely helpful, in addition to his advice and suggestions. The day of
the install went smooth, he removed the old door and quickly setup the new one. Jorge took the time to make sure the install was to my standards, and believe me I am a very picky person! He definitely takes the time to listen, and make sure that the
