Add potlights, install new fan, install new baseboard heater

The electrician did arrive on time and was honest on the efforts needed to execute the work. The installation of the pot lights would have required additional repairs to the ceiling and he consulted me on what had to be done. As they were also a fire hazard, I decided to forego on the pot lights plan. The ceiling fan, electrical outlets and switches were installed without flaw. However, the base board heater ended up being installed 16 inches above the floor. I remember asking that it be closer to the floor as it seemed like it was floating in the middle of the wall.
The electrician came back on January 21 and rectified the situation at no cost. The base board looks great.

Approximate cost of services:
$565.00
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
NEVER leave a contractor work unsupervised. NEVER go on vacation while a renovation project is in progress.

As a result, I will need to hire another electrician to address this eyesore before the carpeting can be installed. I sympathize that there was a sick child that needed attention but personal problems should not be an excuse for leaving such a calling card in my media room. Pictures are available for the sceptics.

If an elecrician tells you that base boards cannot be close to the floor, DO NOT BELIEVE THEM. NEVER leave a contractor work unsupervised. NEVER go on vacation while a renovation project is in progress.
