Torly Evertile install

Had a great experience with Speers a year ago...tried them again- disaster. Ordered Torlys Elite tile for kitchen and powered room. Installers could not get the tile to click together properly; so day one was a write off to identify a problem. Got new tile for day two- still not working. Have to try a different tile completely as there was an obvious quality issue with this batch. Going to take 3 days to get new tile in- not sure when an installer can get to it? Sales rep said “honestly, we don’t sell much of the Torlys Elite tile, we should have better luck with the premier”...maybe they should’ve told me that sooner? Anyhow, rep said he would call Friday and let me know when the tile can be installed. No call Friday. No call Saturday. No call Monday. I waited until later in the morning and then I called, he said “I’m just trying to find an installer”. I didn’t expect an apology for the lack of phone calls, but some acknowledgement about the delay would’ve been appropriate I think? Anyhow, I got my deposit back and we are moving on. Bad tile happens, and that’s when your business faces a true test of its capabilities and service standards. I don’t care to read a management response of “we wish the problem with bad tile didn’t happen blah blah blah”, bottom line- it did happen, and every bad thing that happened after the bad tile is on you.

thank you for taking the time to write us a review. We are glad that you had a great experience with us a year ago and hope that flooring is still performing well. I understand that we promptly refunded you with the deposit you paid us and trust you gave in us again but we could not deliver the replacement flooring in time. I am glad that our Installers Kyle and Jordan acknowledged the flooring was not fitting as tight and as well as we are used to and stopped the project and asked for a new batch. Thank you for pointing out that we did not communicate well with you as to the rescheduling the work and to that we apologize.
