310RENO Design & Renovation

I am a Toronto designer with over 15 years experience and have recently had the opportunity of working with Mike. I am very pleased with the results and was very pleased throughout the duration of the work.

Throughout my career I have worked with many self proclaimed "professional high-end" contractors and have not experienced a company on par with the quality of work ethic as with 310-RENO.

Also, Mike was very receptive to my ideas and implemented changes without a fuss even though a few of the changes were spontaneous. Mike was surprisingly very insightful with his design ideas and I had no problems implementing his ideas into my design, and this is the most favourable relationship a designer can have; one where the contractor and designer combine their knowledge to give the client the best possible space.

Two months ago, I was receiving "quotes" left and right from several contractors. As simple as the task may have seemed, only Sean got back to me on time, with a detailed and itemized quotation and a realistic deadline. It was a clear choice from the beginning, and I can honestly say, I have no regrets about choosing Sean and his team. They came to work everyday they said they would and got all the major work finished very quickly. There were a few lagging things that dragged the deadline a little, but that is to be expected in any renovation project. Sean and his brothers were courteous, respectful and easy to get a long with. In the future, when I have any sort of renovation work that needs to be done, I will definitely call Sean and his brothers again.

wishing to create a more functional space in our basement, we decided to have 310-RENO come in and help bring our vision for a media room and office to life. They came in and gave a clear breakdown and quote for the work required. Sean and Graeme were both professional,considerate and knowledgeable as we wanted to have unique elements such as glass tiles on the support post and cement boards put on the wall to create the industrial/loft atmosphere. the finished work is amazing and we couldn't believe how our basement transformed from a once 60's, retro, dark, cold cave into a bright, modern, warm area that functions so much better as we have clear defined spaces for the office and the entertainment room. It was great having the contractors answer any questions we had, be flexible when we wanted to change certain elements and incredibly prompt in completing the job well before the scheduled deadline. We are definitely going to call 310-Reno anytime we have any other renovations in the future.

Excellent workmanship from courteous workers. On time for duration of project and clean-up every day was top notch. Very thorough in their work and didn't cut corners. Just love the tiled shelves in the shower stall....lots of room for soaps & shampoos,etc.

In 2008 we had our kitchen fully renovated. After getting several quotes, we went with 310. John & Mike gave us great advice to help keep the cost down. The entire reno including the demolition and rebuild went quickly, and the attention to detail was impressive.

The kitchen reno was finished to perfection and it was on time and on budget and we still love our new kitchen.

Now, three years later it was time to finish our basement. We received two other quotes alongside 310-Reno, including a quote from a contractor who did some pretty good work (so I thought) for our neighbour with a very similar house and basement layout.

Needless to say, we chose 310 again. When our basement was finished it by no means looked anything similar to my neighbour's basement - we are extrememly happy with the design, advice and quality of work we received from 310-RENO. I am very pleased we decided to go with 310 again...it was a close call!

We bought a house and the kitchen left quite a bit to be desired. We called 310 Reno and got a quote from Sean Findlay. We haven't looked back since.

I had to find a reliable contractor to finish the rest of my partially finished basement. We had another contractor start the job, but we had to let them go. A close friend of mine recommended 310Reno. They had remodeled his bathroom and kitchen and did an excellent job.

I decided to contact 310reno for an estimate and Mike showed up, presented his ideas professionally and honestly, then called me a couple days later with an estimate. Three weeks later the job was started and five weeks later the work was done.

They did an excellent job! I can't emphasize enough how different the experience was with 310Reno vs the other contractor that started my basement. I would not hesitate to do business with again and highly recommend.

I was a definite newbie to the world of home renovation and after watching one too many episodes of those horror reno shows (you know which ones) I was more than a little nervous about trying to find a contractor on my own. Fortunately after seeing all of the positive feedback on HomeStars I picked 310-Reno plus two other firms for quotes.

From the very beginning 310-Reno stood out from the rest. Mike was extremely easy to talk to during the quote process and always prompt in returning my calls as we worked out the details of the estimate. Mike's level of customer service on a simple quote was so far above the other contractors I contacted that it made my ultimate decision of which firm to use extremely easy.

Sean & Graeme did a great job with my little place. They were very careful to lay down drop cloths over my carpets and to keep the renovation work as unobtrusive as possible. They were both very polite and made me extremely comfortable with their working on my home. The quality of the work was of course first rate and done in a very reasonable time frame. Before the job was even done I was recommending 310-Reno to friends and neighbours.

I am very happy to have found a contractor I can trust and now I know who to call for future projects.

I have honestly never met a renovation company as detailed and professional as 310reno. I have dealt with quite a few different contractors on my past two properties and none of them even compare. I am truly amazed by the quality of work and detail oriented workers. I never had any problems that were not addressed immediately or any questions that were not answered properly. Tony explained everything to me and even explained the science behind most of the steps, even when I wasn't really interested (LOL...thanks anyways Tony).
Everyone on the team is courteous and Tony (my project supervisor) genuinely cared about the outcome of the final product. I know cared because we would debate about decisions I made whenever he didn't like them, even when it would give his crew more work.
If all the crews are like Tony's crew, then this reno company is the absolute best.
