Hey Ashana, I have been doing this for over 14 years now and I have come to this conclusion that regardless how good you explain the deal or how good you provide the service without cutting the corners, there are customers like you who will always come up with some sort of reasons just to get something extra or for free. Fortunately the number is very little.
Unfortunately at Duct Care I will not response to these kind of reviews with a common phrase from many companies "So sorry for your experience with us please contact us to resolve" which never does but it does look professional though. I should have stuck with this statement to get over it but I would only write it when I really mean it when a customer really has a genuine issue after all we are human that work at Duct Care no Angels so we could make mistake there could be quality of work issue etc I have always been there for those customers and will always be there to provide the best service and resolve any issues that they might have.
Thats being said lets talk some facts now;
1) "They never cleaned our return system bc we limited to 12 vents in our house". Really ? Should I really need to response to this. You choose your 12 supply vents out of 25 or 27 supply and return vents that you had and yet you are complaining that we did not do return system when you did not even do any single return vent and many other supply vents.
2) "Their $10/vent charge is blowing with air/spray something any homeowner can do" ? It suggest that you are really good at it then why would you need to hire a duct cleaning company?
3) “Last time our $90 groupon turned into a $350 job” What I am unable to understand is that you had a horrible experience with us in the past where $90 duct cleaning turned into $350 then why in this world you would hire us again to get ripped off one more time from us to prove what exactly? Oh I got it to give us a second chance so we could improve.
Fact of matter is that you wanted to rip us off by not paying for extra vents that you have. And by the way you were aware of $10 extra per vent charge after 12 vents which you already mentioned and you already paid in the past as well so why this now so you could get the whole 3000sq house for $100?
Deal clearly state that extra vent will cost extra. Whenever a customer call us to schedule an appointment we will always let them know about extra vent charge $10 per vent and one more time before we start the job at schedule time we confirm the extra vent charge again just to be on safe side so there is no confusion. So if you don’t want to pay for your extra vents please don’t expect us to clean them either.
I am sorry we did not rob a young family it is just that a young family tired to act smart which did not work.
