Handyman Paul-No Longer in Business

Our wall in the kitchen was wearing down due to age I guess. Paul was able to restore it and make it look like no work was even done to it. It looked brand new!!! Excellent work, will recommend to anyone!!!

After going through the reviews on HomeStars and leaving a handful of messages, I was surprised that Paul was the first and only handyman who returned my call. He sounded busy but very professional and we scheduled an appointment within a few days. He called ahead to make sure that I would be home and came by as arranged. The job was to replace an older window air conditioning unit with a new one and Paul knew exactly how to go about it. In less than an hour the job was done and done well. The cost was quite reasonable and in line what Paul quoted over the phone. I am very pleased with the experience and will definitely use Paul's services in the future.

I called Handyman Paul after moving into a new apartment and realizing that the closet shelving was coming right out of the wall. I called Paul and he not only returned my call within an hour, he was also able to come by my apartment the very same day, only hours after I called. He arrived promptly and was incredibly friendly, polite and professional throughout the visit. He not only re-anchored the closet shelving (to concrete, no less!), he also hung a very heavy mirror for me, and put up a shelf I was unable to do myself. I would absolutely recommend Paul to anyone I know, he did a fantastic job, in a really short amount of time, and was such a nice guy to boot - highly, highly recommended :)

I hired Paul to hang a TV in my lving room. I had bought the bracket that I thought had all the components. Paul realized that the anchors I had were for concrete rather than drywall but he had thought ahead and purchased the correct anchors prior to coming. In & out in less than an hour. Excellent job!

We called several companies, but NO ONE RETURNED our calls (I will not mention their names). Paul returned our call prompty and arrived on time to do some odd jobs around the house. He was professional, and seemed very dedicated.

I live in an apartment building and have been having problems with bugs coming into my kitchen from the neighbouring unit. I wanted to do more than just spray so I gave Paul a call. He was at my place less than two hours later and went through the whole place with me sealing up cracks and giving helpful tips on how to further bug proof my place. His service was wonderful, his prices were reasonable, and I would certainty recommend him to anyone needing handyman services.

Ours was a small job of painting one bedroom. Paul gave us the most reasonable estimate, and we found him to be very friendly and personable. Paul covered up holes in the wall, fixed some plaster, and fixed some minor damage in the door trim before painting. He used the time wisely and the final price was very close to his estimate. He even replaced a wall light fixture for us before he left. We liked Paul so much, we asked him to return to install some shelving for us. We highly recommend Handyman Paul!

I highly recommend Paul. I have used him two times now and will continue to do so in the future. Paul is a very professional, polite and friendly person (with a great since of humor too). I wish I found Paul sooner rather than wasting time in the past with other unreliable handymen.

We had a very old air conditioner installed in the second floor wall of our house. Paul came and removed it, waterproofed the exterior, filled the hole and drywalled over it. The job came out great. While materials were drying, he even helped me with a few electrical boxes in the basement being installed - at no extra charge. The second job I called him back for was to fix a basement step. Paul did a great job again and eliminated a potential hazard.

Paul was able to handle all our requests in a professional and timely manner. He was very concerned about the outcomes and what made the best sense for us while attempting to be budget friendly. He will work was a A+++. He even called us a few days after completion to ensure everything was ok and we were satisfied with the work

Paul was professional and I am very satisfied with the finished product. He was punctual, hardworking and creative is his solution to my self created problem. At first I was hesitant to pay by the hour but Paul over-delivered on his estimate and I feel I got great value for the money spent. I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and neighbors.
