I hired West Hill Landscaping to install a PVC pipe in my backyard to help with moving rain water away from my house. Mike and team did an EXCELLENT job! They were prompt and punctual and finished the work quickly and efficiently. Mike even recommended putting some dirt down beside the house to create a slope (to which he also did for me).

Mike kept me informed about their current jobs and when I could expect this work to be completed. During this time several aspects of the project were completed.,the sod removed and the stones dropped off
They arrived today about 9 and finished about 6 pm
after clearing up everything and watering the new sod. It looks terrific

We were having a water drainage problem in the back yard and when there was heavy rain water was coming into our sunroom.
Mike took out all the patio stones and regraded a huge portion of the backyard. He put in a drainage tube for the water from the eaves trough to come out far away from the house. He got rid is the huge tree stump and leveled everything out and relaid all the patio stones with new sod. He truly transformed my backyard and it looks amazing. I highly recommend him and I will definitely use him in the future for my front yard!

Mike was very prompt and efficient in restoring the pavers walkway around the sides and the back of our house. The job entailed power washing the pavers, spreading sand to fill the the spaces between the pavers, and then sealing the pavers with a special sealer. Job well done indeed!

From day one I was confident and trusted that Mike knew his business , he came on time every day, prepared, planned for the next day. He was always conscious of his work and cleaned up several times during the day. He left our yard and property very clean. He often discussed the work being done with us and kept us posted . Worked late several days in order to finish the work he had planned to finish. I would recommend anyone to have their project done by Mike. He is a pleasure to work with.

Mike , strongly recommend that a repair , not replacement, would accomplish what I was looking for and would save me a lot of money.

Our interlocking driveway was in need of repair. Over the years, parts of the driveway were uneven given tire ruts. I also had some drainage issues in the backyard. Mike recommended repairing only the affected areas instead of the whole driveway which saved on our expenses. We found Mike and his team knowledgeable, prompt, hardworking and professional (cleaned up the site after every day of the project).

We had the good fortune to hire West-Hill Landscaping this summer to give our driveway an update. We were very impressed by their same-day response to our inquiry, coming to the house within hours to discuss our needs. All steps in the process were executed smoothly, and in a timely manner; Mike and Karl consulted with us at every step, with regard to the colour, and to the design that the pavers would form on the driveway. I contracted West-Hill Landscaping in Bowmanville to excavate and trance a 35 foot trench at the side of my house. This side drain was to clear standing water which was pooling after rain storms , leaving the side yard marshy entering my side basement wall.

Bill and his team arrived at 8:00 a.m. and worked hard for 10 straight hours manually digging the ditch, filling it with gravel and then topsoil, and then regrading and seeding. I was very impressed by how hard they worked, how they cleaned up the site and the driveway following the project completion, and their willingness to help me to save and to relocate some of the soil to other areas.

Since the trench has been completed, there have only been three days in which it has rained. So far, so good. The water appears to be draining properly and not pooling. Bill has called on both occasions to ensure that the drainage installed is working as intended. I am pleased to date.

However, the real test of the success of the new side yard drainage system will be over the long term and also during the fall and winter months when there is heavy and severe rainfall. Given that I have a five-year warranty with West- Hill Landscaping for the side-yard drainage, Bill guaranteed that they will come back if the problem presents itself again. I trust that he will keep his word and follow through if warranted.
