Starting from the sales experience, it was really clear that the sales person wants to maximize her profit. I put in an offer and she blattantly told me it was too low and it won't be accepted. I was adamant that she send it in and it was accepted at the end of the day and for her to say she was surprised. This really left a bad taste in my mouth as I understand as a a saleperson you want to make maximize your commission but you never let customers feel like all you care about is taking the most money from them. Through out the time our house was been built I had to remind them on things even though it is in writing.
The service experience is the same as the sales, it almost seems like the culture is to make sure you do the minimum for the customer in order to maximum returns for the company. I always have to remind him things that needs fixing. He always want to brush away issues like they are petty. I believe after spending over $500k I deserve a good house and a little of good customer service.
I must say if it wasn't for the Customer Liason Representative, I would have take my business somewhere else to begin with.
