I would highly recommend Keven and his crew (philip, jeff, and jason). The job they did on my basement and deck was above and beyond what I expected. They were always on time, courteous and respectful of my home. I have had several comments from people on how great a job they did.

A while back we decided to renovate our kitchen and include a substantial addition to it. After months of homework and after talking to several general contractors we decided to use Keven to do the job. We had several meetings with him to discuss, design and finalize the project. Of course, as one might expect when walls started to get removed and spaces extended, there were some surprises. His crew seemed quite skilled at handling surprises and when required Keven arrived quickly to discuss the options available for dealing with “surprises” and they were dealt with quickly and expertly. His workers were respectful of our spaces and appeared to do their job with great joy and skill. We had a few changes along the way as we saw the project take shape. These changes were discussed with Keven and, where implemented, if there were additional costs they were discussed and agreed to and, when required, any changes in the project time frame were also discussed. We are very pleased with the end result. The Project was delivered on time and on budget and we love our new space. Should the occasion arise there would be no hesitation in contacting Keven to do another project for us.

When our basement showed signs of water damage during heavy rains, we called our contractor Keven Ferry for advice. Keven got on the case immediately and figured out where the problem was starting and what the best solutions would be. His crew managed to repair and protect our basement from further damage without imposing excessive costs on us. Within a short period of time our basement was dry, tiled and freshly painted, allowing us to confidently store family treasures without worry. Over the years, we have put our trust in Keven's problem solving skills, craftsmanship and creativity in building and renovation. He knows how to get the job done right the first time!

We had tons of holes in our walls from having had to redo almost all the electrical in the house - some big, some small, all of them of irregular shapes, in the ceiling... So a pretty big job. Also, we wanted to create a bigger closet in the bedroom and create a linen closet. Keven gave us a very detailed written quote (which I appreciate, since I like to have things in writing), with the quotes for the drywall and each closet separately, so we could choose to get only part of it done depending on the budget. The two guys who did the work were very nice, professional, punctual, and did a really great job on the difficult drywall repairs and on creating usable closets. I very, very much appreciated that they cleaned up very well after they were done - not a piece of debris left behind, floors swept. I like to hire a contractor that has high standards of quality for their work, and I was satisfied with the work done by Keven's crew.

Over the years, Keven has done several projects for our homes. Most recently he designed and built an addition to our town home, which integrated beautifully with the existing architecture. The new addition included a second story deck which added even more outdoor living space to our home. Both the sitting room and the deck were beautifully designed and executed with creativity and excellent craftsmanship. The project was done on time and on budget. Keven and his crew were "great guys" to have around! We love our home and would recommend Keven Ferry to anyone looking to design, renovate, restore or build a home.

In both projects, several years apart, Keven listened carefully to our requests, used his experience to help us better visualize what would be involved, suggested materials and in general helped make for an excellent job. He kept us well informed at each step so that our lives were not impacted, keeping to his schedule. His crew were respectful and very skilled, at times going beyond what was basic to ensure the job would be thoroughly done. The final results look good and have stood the test of time. The final cost was precisely what he had quoted. We highly recommend Keven to anyone wanting a high quality renovation. We were impressed by his professionalism and integrity.

His friendly and courteous demeanor is a facade. He has left the site unfinished. Left remaining garbage. When challenged he 'turtles' up, shrugs and attempts to reverse responsibility. An extra PAID in Oct 2011 to prevent water in the basement continues to be a major problem - no attempt to remedy - no refund. Yet he boasts to be 'responsible'. Has attempted to limit the contractual work..twice. He forgets promises made from day to day. Avoids responsibility as much as possible. Many of the items 'finished' were done without qualified trades or oversight There is nothing good to say about Keven Ferry Construction.

Keven provided a competitive quote for the work that we wanted done, made recommendations on materials that we would not have known about and had his crew re-do work that we weren't satisfied with (not because it was poorly done, but rather we hadn't communicated our expectations very well.) His workers were polite, respectful of our family (trying to get a 5 month old to nap during construction turned out to be easier than we had feared!) and cleaned up after themselves. This was a very positive first home project experience.
