An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.
My partner and I hired Paul Wilson of Home Inspectors to do a pre-home inspection. From the beginning Paul was knowledgeable, listened to our concerns, accommodating and was always easy to reach by phone or email. During our inspection Paul pointed out a number of items wrong with the house and gave us in-depth explanations as to why. Due to the poor structure of the house we decided it wasn’t for us. Paul saved us from making a bad purchase and taking on a huge financial burden. Paul assisted us as we continued our search for a new home, allowing us to send him emails and pictures about homes we visited. We can’t thank Paul enough for all of his continued help.
