Excellent work J&N Roofing!
we had several quotes from local roofers and decided on j n roofing because of the sales rep. he was courteous and well mannered and answered all of our questions thoroughly. we decided on a particular style shingle and settled on the cost and an installation date. we were called back later in the week and told that the styly shingle we wanted was no longer available and that we would have to select a different shingle. we decided on a more expensive shingle and had the cost adjusted accordingly. we were then called later that week to be asked if the installation could go earlier and that a dumpster would be dropped off. we changed our plans to accomodate the installation on the earlier date. when the skid of shingles arived it was the original lower cost shingle that we had originally sellected. so the sales rep apologized about the mix up and we went ahead with the old shingle. when the shinglers arrived they were late in the morning and had to start almost at noon. they tore off the old roof and dropped peices of shingles all over my yard. they dropped a shingle with nails in it on top of a tent gazebo and on top of a camper trailer causing tears and dents in them. they finished late at night because they started so late that the banging kept my infant children up rather late. they forgot to install one of the roof vents which left a hole in the roof letting water flow inside the attic. of course it rained like hell the next day. they didnt caulk any of the flashing on many edges to my lower roof. it took a couple of days before they sent someone out to finish the job as well as pick up their dumpster. now recently after having the roof on for just over a year i called regarding some warrenty questions because of the severe wind storm that hit us recently and flipped up a whole bunch of shingles. i was told that their warrenty doesnt cover that kind of damage and it would cost almost 500 bucks to have one of their crews show up and fix it. so i climbed up to fix it myself. i found all of the plastic stripping on the back of my shingles still in place and having not been removed before laying them down. as well they seemed to only use one nail on each shingle. so i could see very easy that this was piss poor workmanship and poor installation methods. i would never in a million years use these bums again. stay clear of these guys. complete garbage.
