Regina Housing Authority

I went to the office on 18 block Smith St. to apply. I over heard a couple conversations which were not good. One family was trying for 3 months to have a rodent problem dealt with. Regina Housing was claiming they had someone in there once or twice and the tenant still had them. Another lady was telling her friend how her place was tidy and could show the friend photos to prove it. Yest Regina Housing said it was unsanitary.
I left without pain a application.

Regina Hosing Authority is the worst possible landlord. One lady got a 4 day eviction notice taped to her door for having her grandson there for a few days. Another lady was handed one in front of other tenants stating that her apartment was unsanitary even after she paid a cleaning service to clean. Yet just recently a man who is a single parent and disabled got a eviction notice claiming he was behind on his rent. On social services he got what Regina Housing said he was to pay as the agreement between social services an Regina Housing for anyone on social services. In alot of cases social services sends the rent to the landlord.
The case of the day who was evicted for a messy home Regina Housing told her she should be in a home as she couldn't look after herself. The cleaning service even talked to them about what they said about then.
Same lady made a call of concern about another tenant who was in early dementia and was told she complained about her.
In a couple cases they kept the damage deposit. In one case the tenant won in court.
