Level One Construction

Level One was extremely professional and had a high level of detail when it came to my renovation projects. My project was completed with very high standards and was completed within the time frame given to me within my contract. Everything was laid out and explained very thoroughly to me. I was very happy with the finished renovation. Working with Level One's designer was wonderful as she helped me pick the high end products I wanted but helped me stay within my budget. She also took me to the stores where I could find my products for my renovation. I would recommend Level One to family and friends.

After inquiring with 3 contractors I chose Level One because Randy, president of Level One, was the most positive and energetic and assured me that my ideas were possible at a fair price. I didn’t get that same level of assurance from the other contractors.
My project manager, Hans, was always very courteous and responsive to my enquires and concerns. He also when needed provided me with a number of useful suggestions and options.
The overall final renovation is better than I expected and night and day from what the kitchen and overall apartment looked in the beginning. Level One staff and sub-contractors were professional and reliable and I feel totally confident recommending them to anyone looking to undertake a large or small renovation project in Vancouver.
I was fairly new to renovations and had heard horror stories from friends and co-workers. It was nice that none of the horror stories happened to me.

Level One has once again demonstrated professional management, great staff and attention to detail. This is the most comprehensive renovation we have ever done and we are very happy with the result. We had some unique items on our “wish list” and Level One, along with their highly qualified sub-trades, came through for us. Not a day goes by that we don’t look around our “new” home and appreciate the work that was done.

We have just finished the renovation of our main floor townhouse. I don't know much more I can add to all the positive comments but I'll try. We contacted 3 separate contractors and decided to go with Level One mostly because of the reviews on HomeStars and Randy's (owner) enthusiasm! He had so many great ideas which was great because we had none. We received a very comprehensive quote within two days. Like I said we had no idea what we wanted so Randy suggested we talk with their designing team Kelly and Cliff. We had such fun with them and they were as excited as we were about our reno. After a couple of meetings with them we went from having no idea what we wanted to "we love it"! Demo started and as hard as demo can be this one wasn't. They protected the tile we had in the entrance way, protected the outside door so it wouldn't get banged up, put up zipper doors going upstairs and downstairs to cut down on dust and swept the main floor everyday before we came home. All saws etc., were put aside so we weren't tripping over anything. The guys working at the house were very tidy, polite and very respectful of the house. You could not ask for a better Project Manager than Eduardo. Nothing was ever a problem. He truly is a professional and has a fantastic eye for detail. Whenever I had asked him something I thought of, he had already thought of it. Because we worked with Kelly and Cliff before the project and picked everything out our project went very smoothly. We plan on redoing our upstairs at some point and definitely will be using Level One again. Thanks guys! We love it!

Exceptional work with exceptional attention to detail.

What stood out for me was when I texted my project manager Eduardo that a neighbouring unit had reported a leak, he immediately swung by my condo to make sure that we were not the ones causing it. (It was caused by a different reno going on by a different company).

What also stood out was how well they handled the demolition. Level One built a completely airtight seal around the kitchen and then did all the terra cotta removal in a single day. This was VASTLY superior to the previous contractors I had used to remove tile in other areas.

Their designer, Cliff, also did a really great job. He recommended converting one wall into a pantry which turned out to be incredibly useful for storing spices and other small items.

I will be renovating my master bathroom soon and I doubt that I will even bother getting bids from rival companies. Extremely highly recommended.

We recently enlisted the services of Level One Construction to renovate our condo's kitchen and bathroom. In both cases, the rooms were dated and in need of repair. We met with three separate contractors to discuss the process, and, upon meeting Randy of Level One, decided that Level One would be our contractor of choice. We were provided with a realistic quote and description of services that would be provided. We met with Cliff and Kelly (our design team) who developed excellent kitchen designs that achieved the look and functionality that were hoping for, within our budget. Our project manager, Eduardo, was fantastic. We were in communication throughout the process, and he was particularly efficient in responding to our questions, and in including us every step of the way. The workers were respectful of our space. Level One communicated with both our strata and city permit staff and inspectors. We really did not have to do a thing besides enjoy the progress. We are very pleased with the final product. What was once a small kitchen and a tired bathroom are now sleek, modern, functional spaces, of which we have received numerous compliments. Level One's design has really transformed the look of the condo, and a high quality of workmanship is apparent. We recommend Level One's services to anyone looking to renovate and would definitely employ Level One again for future projects. Thank you to Randy, Eduardo, Cliff, and Kelly for creating a fantastic space for us!

I found Level One searching the web and checking for reviews here on Home Stars. I was a bit afraid to start my small kitchen reno as I'd have to think about all the details around and planning this project. I contacted Level One to get an estimate and felt comfortable with the company to proceed. Eduardo was my Project Manager and I learned a lot from him and his team on how renovations can be complex and bewildering. So, I am glad I had left my kitchen renovation to a very competent company/crew who paid attention to detail I can't thank you enough Eduardo for your invaluable advice and guidance along the way & calming my nerves and worries throughout the reno :) I'm so happy with how my kitchen turned out and proud to show it off to family and friends. I will miss you and "the boys"! I will most certainly recommend Level One to friends and family!
