I came into Home Depot (448 Clark Side road London Ontario)The person who helped me was a really nice person. who explained that the dryer would have to be disconnected, by which I understood as unplugged, dryer vent disconnected, and moved away from the wall. No ware did it say that I had to dismantle the dryer first! The dryer was mounted on a stand, I thought it was one piece. The refused to take it. Being a holiday weekend Canada Day they were gone. Having an artifical hip and knee I would never have payed for this service, and would not have bought from Home Depot. Things not done, the four plastic screws put in in the driveway, not leveled in the basement. basically the machine was dropped off an they ran. Later when I called back I was lead to believe that the delivery company was coming back i did take it apart. four small screws an open the clamps. The problem was was how to get it off. only one way lift it off, knowing how this company worked I got it off, and hurt my back. Then to find out they were not going to come back. I made a huge mistake in trusting Home Depot and their delivery company!! It will never happen again
