I will never buy appliances from HD ever again.
HD sent 2 delivery teams for my washer ordered.
My complaint is about their appliance deliveries. One time can be a fluke. Twice with same pattern is serious especially HD seems not to care. A call for survey comes a few min after each delivery. As I cannot pick up it leaves message to my mail box, the machine keeps asking the first question if I am satisfied. again and again. It is so none sense the whole survey.
About delivery people they all have the same angry look and are ill-mannered. The word rude is understatement.
They know nothing about how washer or dryer are installed. They dont care and leave my drain hose dangling and the heavy washer outside the laundry area. The drivers actually only do heavy duties but acted like your dad. They dont listen and say what they want to convenience them, somehow they knew nothing customer can do about it.
Think about it, you earn hard money and spend to get product and decent service. You dont ask for free and you are reasonable. How one question could cause them pay a parking ticket? They barely were inside the house for 5min. Then they should have bought enough parking time to service properly at least 20 min, it is washing machine hook up.
You cannot do reasoning with them.
The other time the guy lifted my dryer which was sitting on a frame and dropped it freely back making a loud bang.
That is not the item associated with the purchase. It is unsafe to do so. And the guy had no idea how the dryer was set up to this frame.
Both of them are not bright you can tell from the way they dont understand a simple explanation, direction to backyard gate and loading area or simple question you asked.
I feel lucky I live in highly secured condo. I would feel unsafe challenging this attitude if I am alone in a house.
The question is why should I even feel good just to be safe as such. That is the least any customer deserves. I should be able to enjoy the experience at the least. But no. HD has turned blind eye since obviously these people have done the same thing to many other customers who likely make complaint as I did.
What is the world we are living in to get this kind of people making money from us for such unacceptable and abusive attitude. It should not be tolerated.
Does Home Depot Canada care? They even dont provide a legitimate email address for customer complaint.
