Valley Squire Furniture

We have nothing but great things to say about our shopping experience at Valley Squire Furniture Store. The service was phenomenal, not to mention, the wonderful selection of quality products we had to chose from. We highly recommend them!

We have bought a full bedroom set, kitchen hutch, kitchen table, cinema chairs, living Room tables, curio and couches and a few other pieces over time.

Our bedroom set is 10 years old now and looks like new, kitchen stuff 7 years old and cinema chairs 5 years old.

The owner, sales stuff and delivery service are top notch. Never had an issue. Delivery guys took shoes off and placed everything where we told them, assembled everything together and even helped us move old furniture around and were very careful not to scratch our floors.

This is now our goto store for any new furniture pieces.

Ordered a recliner and had to return it because it was very uncomfortable and wasn't at all what I experienced in the store. Could not get refund but instead had to order another style only after a very uncomfortable and strained discussion with the part owner of the store who seemed to think he was doing me a favour. No sales technique whatsoever and rude. Not someone I would ever again deal with, let alone step inside their store.

Beware, customer satisfaction does not happen at this store.

I would like to start off by saying our sales experience was fine, but when it came to deal with the delivery and service department things went down hill. We have triy to purchased and support local businesses in the area but Valley Squire need to have a look at their service department and General manager as they do not have any professionalism and do not understand what customer service is..I do not want to go into great detail on my experience needless to say is was less than postive.

Its a shame when consumers have to deal with such rude unprofessional staff,the owners of this business really need to change some of their employees.

Would not not purchase at Valley Squire strictly due to the support staff.

The store mgr. owner there promised my wife and I the world on our bedroom set (wedding gift to ourselves)which includes a dresser, huge mirror attached and night table.
This guy is a piece of work and talks down to you and believes he's a no it all when he is not at all about furniture.
First off delivery was a shock with a few of the drawers not closing flush and all off and the centre foot that goes in the middle was left on the floor hidden under the dresser unattached.
After just a few years I noticed the edging of the dresser coming off not just the front where there is some traffic but all around where there is none at all? Plus in the last year a couple blemishes are appearing.
I contacted first Durham Furniture and they said they would be in contact with Valley Squire to see what could be done. Valley Squire sent a man to fix a drawer thats never closed properly and he told me that Durham would get back to them regarding the condition of my furniture that they made.
Finally after waiting a month to hear from him Durham furntiture that made this furniture Valley Squire told me they will not repair anything and he cannot as well? BEWARE of what you buy from here especially the quality and be careful what you hear from these people.
This guy promised my new wife to be and myself this furniture would last a lifetime? NOT!

I have bought numerous pieces from Valley Squire and this is the first store i go to when looking for new pieces. Always had wonderful service both instore and during delivery.

In store service was good, staff very knowledgeable. Although they advised 8 - 10 weeks for delivery, store received fireplace earlier, just before Christmas and they delivered/set it up on Christmas Eve. Great to have a fireplace over the Christmas season.
