Century Windows & Doors

I am satisfied with the unique combination of price and quality. From several quotes I got, I am glad I went with Century Windows and Doors. Jack was very helpful and fair.

Century Windows came to give me a quote on the job, the gentelmen who came was polite and knowlegeble. Installation was exellent and products were grate. I'm very happy and i would recomend Century Windows. Mary, Thornhill. On.

This company did not provide me with a proper contract describing what I would be getting. Some of the windows were ordered wrong, and some with different glass in them than requested. The workers were not punctual, did not show up some days, and provided inferior workmanship.
The old aluminum frames, which had no thermal break, were not removed and no support was provided at the door which had windows above and to either side of it. Other contractors who have seen the job say it all needs to be replaced. When the owner of the company saw the problems on-site with the lack of support, he went back to his office and put through the balance of the job ($12,000) on the credit card without any authorization whatsoever, without allowing the legal holdback of 10% for the Construction Lien Act. In addition, numerous deficincies were not attended to, and the company refuses to honour its 10 year workmanship guarantee.
They do not even respond, and ignored attempts by the Better Business Bureau to look into the problems. The owner of the company is impossible to deal with. DO NOT EVEN THINK about using this company for anything!!

Windows installed by Century Windows.
3 years after installation there is overwhelming condensation leaving mould buildup we cannot see through. Another company installed windows within the same area of my home and very little condensation at the bottom on cold days. This eliminates humidity problems. We did not received the quality windows that we paid for. After several phone calls and emails owner Jack Royt refuses to honour the 10 year warranty. They promise quality but delivered low grade products. They did not installed Window City products as promised. My contact with Window City confirms the dishonesty by Century Windows. We do not recommend this company, they have a "F" rating for failure to respond to clients.
