Last Jan. we moved from Calgary to Toronto, and I must say it was a bad idea. We moved to Toronto early, because we had plans to visit my niece before settling in our new apartment. The packages were sent a day after, so that it would reach the apartment at the same time as we had planned. I got a call from the movers the very next day, informing that they had to move the packages to the storage space to keep them safe from a bad winter storm and deliver them soon after the storm. It took a couple of days to deliver the package, but in the end they arrived safe and we weren’t charged anything extra. I was pleased by their experienced thinking on handling such issues.
