Damaged Our Property And Refusing To Pay For Repairs
DO NOT USE THEM - Damaged Our Property And Are Not Taking Responsibility. My company has been using AirFx in Brampton for over 11 years with technicians coming every 3 months to inspect our furnace and change the air filter. This past Monday their technicians, after being warned by me about staying on the structure in the ceiling and not stepping on the drywall which is the ceiling for the kitchen, they stepped and broke through the ceiling. See the attached photos. This is not the first time that this company has done that, namely in 2018 they stepped through a similar area. While they took full responsibility in 2018 and made the necessary repairs to the ceiling, this time their owner is refusing to take care of the repair that their inept technicians caused. Their technicians did a cursory sweep and left my staff to have to mop the floor, clean out the toaster, and wipe down every surface in that room. The owner is citing an unsafe area, however why would his company allow his technicians to continue servicing our furnace for 11 years if it was truly unsafe. It looks as if I will be taking them to Small Claims Court to recover the repair costs.
