***Sept 28- Issue was rectified by McKinley tech. New furnace requires Air conditioner set up via Bluetooth App. This probably should have been tested and resolved at the time of install so 2 stars dropped off the rating*** Other than that my original comments stand. Would definitely call McKinley for Future Work.
************Sept 27*************McKinley determined what the route cause of the issue was and promised to send someone out to rectify. Turns out it was a new set up requirement their techs had not been trained in. They have promised to have someone out directly to resolve.****
****Well I wrote a glowing review before I found out they did not test the air conditioning. The Blower motor will not come on while the air conditioning is on, and the fan will not come on when turned on via the thermostat. Contacted the salesperson, no response. Contacted the main number and they sent someone out, who is working on it, but has no idea what the issue is. I will update this review if they can rectify.************
I called McKinley after getting quotes from a few different companies (one of which never called back to confirm some info).
Matt the salesperson was the most knowledgeable of all the salespeople that came by, and was willing to answer all of my questions and concerns.
We settled on the installation of a new furnace and air conditioner.
It was a particularly awkward job and I had to prep by taking down a wall in advance to meet code requirements.
The Crew sent out (Freddie, Mel, Francis) worked through a very difficult job, quickly, and efficiently. I cannot say enough about them. After the work was completed they cleaned up COMPLETELY after themselves.
The second half of the job was postponed due to an early snowfall (the installation manager called and asked if they could push the installation to deal with a series of emergency no heat calls- I agreed).
On the followup date, Freddie and Mel showed up again, and worked in the same manner as before quickly and efficiently. Any questions I had, Freddie answered. Again on departure they cleaned up completely.
One of the Quotes I received was a few thousand dollars less than McKinley, and I would gladly pay that extra money again for the service received from McKinley. I can say enough how on point it was.
