We can't even get close to describing how much we love, love, love our Royer home. Best decision we ever made.

When we first walked into Royer we were a little apprehensive, we had done a lot of research and talked to a lot of people and knew that we really wanted to build with Royer, but were not sure we could afford what we wanted and where. So, we booked a meeting with Dan Royer, sat down and told us what we were looking for and he gave us some layout ideas to mull over and a range that we would be looking at, while he got to work on some more plans for us. Within a few days we nailed down a firmer layout and he came back exactly in the range we talked about. At that point we were sold and after getting our financial ducks in a row, so was our new lot, and we were about to start building a house for the first time. A 2700 sq ft, 2 story.

We can’t tell you how many times over the years that we have had people tell us that they built before and would never do it again. People would say what a headache it is, so stressful, that you have to be in your house every day to make sure all is okay and so on. So, at the beginning of our build with Royer, we were very excited and worried at the same time but Dan, Dennis, Erin and Travis wiped that worry away almost instantly. By the first couple of days into framing, we knew that there would always be someone to help us with any questions or concerns, and we could relax because they were as invested in building us our dream home as we were. We visit a lot in the beginning, because we were so excited but once winter set in and we couldn't really see the progress as we drove by on the road any more, the only feeling we had were anticipation knowing that great things were happening in there. If we ever wanted to see, we just picked up the phone and Erin would arrange a time for us to go through. I never wanted to leave. Now we don’t have to.

Our house was not only finished by the date on our contract, but 5 weeks before. Our positive experience with Royer didn't end on that date either. One of the things that made us apprehensive about a new build was having to go back to clay and start the outside from scratch again. Royer knew from the beginning how important getting our grading done and passed so we could not only feel settled inside but outside as well. They helped to ensure that our driveway was in and our rough grade done properly and in for approval within days of grading season opening up at the town. We had our rough grade approved in less than a week, which enabled us to get going on our final grade and get our yard landscaped so that we were able to enjoy it for more than half of the summer. While this may not be about the house itself, it is a true testament to Royer’s excellent standard of service, because a lot of builders don’t ensure the lot grading is done properly and people end up going for month or years without being able to landscape.

We have been in our house for 7 months now. If we have any issues we call Allen and he is there to help us out. Everyone who walks through the door loves the house as much as we do and are always blown away by the finishing and how well our house is built. So, as far all of those people who told us they would never build again, not only would we build again when the time comes, but we would only build with Royer.

We worked with Royer Homes in 2014/2015 to design and build our 3,000 sq. ft. two-storey home. We have now been living in our home for almost 5 months, and we honestly never want to leave this house! It is perfect, down to every detail. It has completely ruined vacations for us, because when we stay at a hotel, we cannot wait to get back home!!

From our very first meeting, the staff at Royer Homes (Dan, Dennis, Kristin, Erin, Alan, and others) were all professional, thoughtful, flexible, and always strived to put our needs first. Any questions or concerns were dealt with promptly and thoroughly. Extra kudos to the painters, finishers, and cabinet makers for their exceptional work and craftsmanship! We have built two previous homes with "big builders", and nothing could compare to the remarkable experience that we had with Royer Homes, who catered to our every need. It is rare to find a company nowadays who still prides itself on traditional values, workmanship, and professionalism; in these, and other aspects, Royer Homes is a true gem!

Royer Homes built our custom designed 2,000 sq. ft. walk out bungalow 8 years ago. It was a pleasure working together with them. With all the horror stories out there about building a house we only have good things to say about our experience. They are professional, flexible, easy to get along with and a hold of, down to earth common sense team. Their costing was right on the money for allowances on lighting and plumbing. No surprise bills. They kept the work site clean right down to shovelling the snow on the sidewalk. Quality craftsmanship, great guys.

There is truly something to be said about doing business with a family owned business versus a big name builder. With Royer Homes everything was so personalized from start to finish! Dan and Dennis were exceptional in all aspects of our build. Erin, Kristie, Vern and all the trades provided their expertise enabling the quality home we were looking for. We are very pleased with our home and our decision to go with Royer Homes. We really appreciated receiving the level of service, quality and the personal interaction with Royer. They were very accomodating and bring more than just meaning to the word "Custom!"

Denis and Dan Royer were excellent to work with. They were very helpfull in all aspects of the build and were very accommodating in dealing with several of our special requests. They allowed us to be involved in all aspects of the design and build. My wife and I brought Denis the floor plan that we had in mind and he worked with us to creat a well built home within our budget. I can't say enough about the craftsmanship that I saw go into the build and the finishing. As for the builders warranty Denis went above and beyond to ensure that we were completely satisfied. I have and would recommend Royer Homes to anyone looking for a reliable quality builder of custom homes.

First off, you can not meet more friendly and authentic people than Dan & Denis Royer. We worked mostly with Dan and got to know him very well. Through the process of building with Royer Homes, we found that Dan was not just our builder but our good friend, and as good friends always do, he looked after us with excellence. Royer Homes was recommended to me by my sister who saw many of their show homes in her town of Beaumont. She said that if I was going to build a custom home, Royer Homes would be at the top of her list because of their quality and flexibility. I am a tall, quadriplegic male who requires ample room to maneuver in my hallways and rooms with my large power wheelchair. Royer Homes put together a floorplan and a design to match and meet my needs perfectly. My hallways are spacious. My doors are wide enough, yet do not look out of place. I asked for the ability to reach more than one level of my house, which would be impossible for most wheelchair bound individuals, and they said, “No problem!” Royer Homes worked well with an innovative elevator company based out of Edmonton to come up with a design that allowed me the freedom to access multi-levels in my home with a professional fully-automated elevator system that blended beautifully into the home. Now I can freely go where and when I want in my home at all times while being safe and reliable. This is a privilege I have not had since before my injury many years ago. This was done with seamless integration and cost-efficiency kept in mind. Royer Homes was able to retain the original budget and design first proposed. I was excited about the construction of this home and all of the bits and pieces that I could customize to my liking and tastes. When I was given the keys and entered this beautiful home which I had dreamed of and conceived, I felt like I almost built this home myself. I was blown away by how it turned out. There has not been one person that has entered this home who has not said “Wow! What a beautiful home. You have a really nice home here. I love this….I love that…” I am very proud to own this home and will be for many years to come. Royer Homes stands by their name and workmanship. They will not be happy or complete until you are happy and feel that it is complete. Now for the landscaping….Fun! Fun! Fun!

My wife and I have been living in our new home for about two years now, and only have good things to say about Royer Homes. The building experience was great, and their support over the last two years has been just as good. Any questions or concerns we had were dealt with promptly. Not only were they very accommodating of our requests, but they also provided great suggestions as well. This being our very first home, we were unfamiliar with the building process, but they made it easy for us throughout the entire build. One of the major reasons we had chosen Royer Homes was due to the fact that they had built the home for my in-laws nearly 27 years ago, which they still live in to this day. Our building experience with Royer Homes was amazing from start to finish. We decided to build with them as they are a very reputable company, and heard nothing but good things. They are very professional, friendly and accommodating. We were shown various homes they have built and they worked with us to design the perfect home for us. The building process was made fun as they walked us through every aspect, from picking out flooring to light fixtures and everything in between. A very reliable and friendly builder. Even years after the build, they are helpful and easy to get ahold of. My husband and I enjoyed the whole home building process and would love to build with them again, that is, if we could ever part with this beautiful home they already built for us. ;)

We were able to build a "one of a kind " home with Royer Homes. We wanted to be very involved in the whole process and were encouraged to do so. The trades they use are very good. The framing was very impressive, the finishing work was excellent along with the service. It is obvious that they use good quality materials.
