Delfa Windows And Doors

Hired this company to outfit a building project. Agreed on terms and then once deposit went through the terms were changed. I was not impressed with the lack of professionalism and unethical behavior. This matter will have to be resolved another way.

The initial quote and promises looked good - things changed once I called one week prior to installing. All of a sudden the windows would not be ready for another 6 months. I think the owner used my money to finance other initiatives. I asked to cancel and refund and was refused. This whole company is unethical and shady. Do not use them.

Long story short, the company made many promises and did not deliver. I tried to cancel my order and get my deposit back, but they would do no such thing.
4 months later I am out my deposit and still do not have the doors.
I should have checked reviews first.

All Alex's are rude. Door was installed 3 months late. After 5 months all the paint is chipping off the fiberglass door. I have texted and called Delfa over 25 times, and they have not responsed after the first time, when they said it was Queens Doors problem. Queens says its not their door and will not speak to me. Neither Delfa or Queens will return my calls. Never Ever Ever use this company for ANYTHING. I paid $5000 for a door that has to be replaced after 6 months, although I was given a 1 year warranty. No response or help whatsoever from this company.

I purchased windows from Delfa in May 2016. The windows were installed at the end of June 2016. However, they ordered the wrong window for my family room and I was left with a white window while the rest of my windows were beige. I was advised my window would be in a few weeks. The window was finally installed at the end of August. After installing the window, they used the wrong color caulk. I had to make many calls for someone to come out and use the right caulk. The guy came out and basically wiped some new caulk over the old.
Additionally, the window does not close properly and there is caulk left on the siding of the house. I have called the manager of the Delfa and he just handed me off to someone (who has never once returned a phone call). So now I am left with caulk on my siding, a half done caulk job and a window that doesn't close properly and DELFA DOES NOT CARE! I have always used Lowes and I will never use DELFA again. Absolute worst customer service experience ever! After spending over 7k, you would think they would want to ensure their customers had a positive experience.

I ordered two windows in May and paid $100 deposit. Alex the salesman took my order. Another Alex came to measure. Then nothing. I have called five times. A third Alex replied twice to say they were coming in a week (back in July) but they never did and nobody is returning calls now. My deposit is gone. No reply. No windows. Stay far far away from Delfa. I am filing a report.

Will try to cut it short, but the whole experience went sour very quickly once I challenged what was delivered (these were not the windows I ordered).
The sales rep measured the windows and then claims it was my fault when they were not the right size.
Furthermore the windows reaked of cigarette smoke and I had to pay an additional $150 to have them cleaned.
If the sales man can't speak English, how can he possibly install windows.
Ask questions before you sign with this company.

The service I received from Alex, the owner, was excellent. He kept me informed of the status of the job and was very professional in his dealings with me. The job, although it was a large one was done extremely fast. The job looks awesome, so much so that the neighbours all took Alex's info for their own homes.
