I have purchased a home from Elegant homes and attempted to go through with them regarding my one year walk through to complete issues with the home, it is now 2 years! We love our home but in any new home there are some deficiencies that need to be corrected after or before the one year possession. It has been an ordeal, they do not call back or acknowledge their mistakes and deficiencies. I do not understand how anyone that wants to build a reputation can act this way. This company has the worst record for customer care! Once they have your money they run and hide and treat you as if you do not exist. I am seeking legal council

We have a beautiful home, some of the craftsmen who worked on this home are truly artisans. The woodwork is amazing, our front door is a work of art. However dealing with the deficiencies has been painful and continues over two years later. We included $37, 500 in our closing to pay the landscaper, and he was never paid, nor were we reimbursed this money. Beware of this builder, it is a small company only ran by the Mom and Dad, and their daughter and her husband. John, the father, seems to care about his reputation, but seems limited in what he can do. We have honestly tried to be pleasant while dealing with them, but after 2 years and numerous excuses...we are now seeking legal council. As a side note, our neighbors also have many issues, and their landscaper was not paid either!
