Nauta Home Designs

I purchased complete house designs, decided to make minor and reasonable modifications Nauta home designs would not support. Took the finished designs to another designer to quote on the redesign, they told me the Nauta designs had many structural faults.
Now i'm completely out of pocket $3500.
DO not recommend.

When building our dream home for our retirement we sought out Nauta Home Designs for the construction plans of our new house, for design tips and assistance with the outside view of the home. After paying a hefty down payment, our money was gone and we did not get the finished product we were promised. The one draft we received took far longer than we were told and was not in line with what we had requested. We had questions about the design and we needed changes but our calls to the company went unanswered. In the end the workable details of the design and construction were left up to us. This was far different than what had been promised. When it came time for our contractor to implement the plan he had to make a number of changes with no help from the Nauta Home Design team who we had paid good money. This is not a company I would recommend to anyone.

I have to thank Hank Nauta for drafting our home renovation plans on 2 separate occasions. His vision and expertise are priceless. His office is very well organized, online, up to date on the latest products, styles, plans, etc.
Estimates, drafts, drawings are all done in a reasonable time period. His website allows one to see their plans or pictures along the way, and make any changes or suggestions. His prices are average, but the contractors I have used tell me his plans are the best.
Give them a call, you will be glad you did.
