I wouldn't pretend to be a handyman but for some reason the idea of a fixer-upper really appealed to me. Enter wife groaning around.....here. So I did the measurements, and had a rough idea of colour and durability issues but otherwise was relying on someone with some experience to guide me. Low-and-behold Markville Carpet were there to guide me through the ins-and-outs of my job: what to look for, ideal fabrics, colour pallette etc.
I guess when you go to a family business that has been there for 50 years you accumulate a lot of stock. It was great because when I went back with my wife they could find something to match what she wanted in stock, and installed it 2 days later.
Now there's just the walls, the new window and the landscaping to do. Anyone in the market for a renovators dream?
