Tropicana pools worst nightmare of my life. Paid for the pool in full right of the hop. Purchased the pool for my husband a three time stroke survivor for his mobility. Ordered handi cap stairs. Pool collapsed as soon as that water was put in at my expense. Huge dent in the side of the pool. One of the caps left in the pool. Yard is a mess. Winter is still not on. Apparently the stairs, sand bags and now pool cover are on back order. We just moved here recently everyone encouraged us to shop locally. Which we did. Tropicana pools took advantage of two seniors. All that we asked in the beginning was To be whole again.

Totally ruined the bottom of my pool, no more flat bottom, and would not own up to it !
Alex(owner) promised yo fix but never followed through.

Hired Tropicana in spring 21 to install new steps, interlock pad and planter on the front of our builder home, as well as a back patio. Day of front step install, owner left site and install completed by crew - nothing was as discussed. Steps are barely to code - tread reveals uneven, step height uneven, gaps left exposed. Multiple tripping hazards. Came back and parged gaps - said it was fied. Owner said time to move on to next job. Said he would come back in spring 22 if install failed. It did. Spent the summer of 22 getting the runaround from office staff. Finally came back - another fix that lasted 2 weeks. Ripping it all out next year.

Tropicana is unreliable and did an aweful partial install and never came back. We ended our firing them. They did so many things wrong and messy that we had to hire another company to fix their mess. Read their Facebook reviews before thinking about doing business with them. Many people have had issues. You can contact the people and they will tell you and show pictures. Dont know how they can stay in business!

Hired Tropicana to replace my 24 ft above ground pool as it was 20 years old. We drained our pool to get ready for the installation which was attempted early July but they ran into problems with fit and walked away. The person who needs to resolve this at Tropicana will not return my numerous calls to discuss solutions and here we are early August. We have a yard filled with a half finished pool and no resolution in site. This sucks!

They replaced my pool liner and it fitted like glove. They are professionals. The owner and the store manager really understand the client needs and are easy to deal with.

So, for the above reasons, I strongly recommend them for any type of work that they provide as well as their service after sale

Never trust Tropicana pool & spas Inc. to come back to fix their mistakes... They were hired to come install a new linear and at the very start they needed to empty the pool (of course) and didn't know how to start their own pump. I had to show the guys how it worked. Second, after the pump was started, they weren't able to pump any water out. The boss (who arrived late) took over 20 min. to figure out that his boys had installed the hoses backwards. When they were finally able to pump water out of the pool, the hose pumping out the water had so many holes & leaks that it flooded my backyard for days. Finally after the installation. As the days past, we had to add water all the time because of a leak around the skimmer. We called the boss and he said it might be the screw and indeed, some of them were stripped. He said he was going to send some screws via mail, didn't even want to come and fix it because he said it was far away (why on earth did you take the contract then buddy ???). Been close to a month now and they still haven't been back to fix the problem/leak, we just get the runaround over the phone,... very disappointing/ poor company & after sale service...

We hired Tropicana Pools and Spas to install a 24 foot circular on-ground pool, as well as a Celtic stone retaining wall completely around the pool. They also installed a 16' x 22' patio as well as associated landscaping. Ultimately they remodelled about 70% of our back yard and the end result is fantastic!
We have already re-hired Tropicana for more landscaping next spring, and they will be performing all of our future pool maintenance as necessary.

Called them to remove my old filter and install a new one I had purchased. They came he same day and I thought that was great because in May it's hard to get any pool company to come within 3 weeks. The guys showed up and didn't have the required parts that any pool company would normally have, so I sent someone to the hardware store to purchase what they said they needed. They did the job but my pool was not filled enough to test it so they said start it when your water level is high enough. The next morning I was able to start the pump and I noticed a large amount of water dripping from one of the hoses. So I thought on they said if I have any problems to call them back, I did and the girl that works there said she would send them over same day. I waited and they never showed up. I called the next morning and she sent two other guys , it was clear the minute they started trying to fix the problems that they didn't know what they were doing, they were saying that the first person who did the job was the owner and that he didn't do it right. (HUH) They connected the hoses from the filter to the pump and other pvc plumbing by inserting the hoses inside the pvc and using plumbers glue and caulking, I'm no plumber but even I know that's not right. They went back to they're truck and had the nerve to invoice me for another $60 , they were told what they could do with they're invoice in a very clear way , they left quickly. Of course I couldn't help myself and started the pump a few hours later to see what would happen and like anyone would expect the hoses flew out of the pipes and water went everywhere. I called them back and told them that they are going to pay half the bill for the plumber I have coming tomorrow .
