Fridgidare fridge FFHT1514QW2

Do NOT purchase this model of Fridgidare freezer top fridge! I purchased this model in May and for the first month I had it, water kept dripping into the fridge and freezing on top of containers that were on the top shelf. I contacted Electrolux (who obviously own this brand) and they sent a repair technician to my house. He came with two parts however one replacement part didn't even fit so he simply took the old part, wrapped it in metal tape and put it back in. Instead of changing the gasket on the freezer door he simply removed the old one, caulked around it with silicone and told me "this is what Electrolux recommend for this fix. This is a known problem and there is a service bulletin out for it." He said that there was only a 50/50 chance that this fix would work.
Well suffice to say it is still dripping water and I cannot seem to regulate the temperature in either the fridge or the freezer. I now have a product that is one month old, held together with silicone and metal tape! I wrote in a complaint to Electrolux and got a reply stating that I would be contacted in 2-3 days. I have yet to hear from anyone.
Electrolux have put this model on the market with a known defect. After the warranty is over and it starts to leak again when the metal tape starts to break down, I will be on the hook for repairs, not to mention having to throw out most of my produce that spoiled.
Unless you want the nightmare that I am having, stay as far away from this produce as you can!
