This was years ago in my student days. I was in search for a used PC Soundcard that had a 16bit chip for better sound in games and applications. I was greated by a Technician/Salesman (forgot his name) and after explaining what I was looking for he recommended the Creative SoundBlaster 16 soundcard. It was used and priced at $48 but got it pushed down to $40 + tax of course. Needless to say PC hardware was very expensive in those days (486 and up).
The Technician tested the Soundcard before handing it to me and overall, I was very sarisfied with the service and price.
