Colours Art & Framing

I started a drafting course and needed some unusual supplies I couldn't find anywhere else. A friend recommended it to me and after a bit of searching downtown (I got lost), I found the store. It's full of surprises! The staff is awesome though and they always have deals!

Upon reccomendation from many of my artist friends, I stopped by Colours downtown. It's a quiet little store stuck behind Grant Macewan, but I have to say that I was really quite impressed with the customer service that I recieved.

The lady behind the counter was able to answer all of my questions, taking me on a tour of the paints and she really created a comfortable environment. Their prices are a bit expensive, but for the service I recived, I feel that it was worth it!

I purchased a large pack of paper from this company and it was damaged during shipment (wasn't packaged too well to prevent corner damage). I was first told that a new pack was to be shipped out and the shipping company would inspect and pickup the damaged one.

A month later and nothing. I called and ended up speaking to one of the managers Ken and he offered 30% off or nothing. I asked to just return product for full refund but he outright refused. He threatened lawsuits with hundreds if not thousands in legal fees if I canceled payment with my credit card. This is over a $55 product and I would have been happy with a simple replacement like they promised me from the beginning. Terrible customer service if you ever have an issue.
