Home inspection for buying

We are taking this company to the court for the poor job they did and cost us. Adrian was inexperienced and had no clue. As a woman who is not handy at all, I noticed many things such as the rotten floor in the bathroom and multiple watermarks in the house. I pointed the rotten floor to Adrian and specifically asked him about it. He said "it's normal for the age of the house." He did not mention anything about this in his report, either. It turned out the first night we moved into our new house, we had a serious leak through the bathroom floor down through the dinning room ceiling! There was a puddle on the dinning room floor! I have videos and photos to prove this. We ended up spending over $10000 to renovate the entire bathroom. Imaging you just got a big mortgage and now this! We couldn't enjoy our new house; couldn't rent out the basement suite (because we had to use the bathroom in the basement); everything was set back by this unexpected disaster. So, would I recommend this company to anyone after this? I don't think so.

Eco Energy home evaluation

We wanted to take advantage of government home renovation rebates and a friend recommended Amerispec. We ended up with the same consultant who was very thorough in our energy assessment. He walked us through our options and what we could get back in rebates. We beefed up our insulation and we got our rebates. Process was easy and painless.

We had ecoEnergy inspections done by Amerispec. The consultant was thorough and courteous. After the inspection, we walked through the house and provided us with tips on saving energy. We were very pleased with his work and the company. We have no hesitation recommending this company.

We were referred by our realtor when we purchased our first home. They were prompt and professional and their attention to detail was amazing. They went through all explanations and gave us a binder report of everything important.

Home inspection

Clayton was very prompt and professional. Went to the house we were buyng and did a thorough inspection. Also provided advice to the things that were cosmetic flaws and did not require immediate attention. We've since bought the place and focused on renovating all the things that were highlighted in the report.
