Western pruned 2 huge hedges, and trimmed several large cedar trees in our front and back yards. We particularly liked that they had a bucket truck, and were licensed to work near Hydro wires, so they were safe and efficient. The crews were friendly, efficient and tidied everything up (the chipper was going all afternoon with all the debris!). Their quote was very competitive as well! We highly recommend them.

After getting a quote from the staff of this company in January 2021, I had emailed the president/owner to confirm the Scope of Work and the price as quoted. He then showed up with his crews, and I was told he would not do the work as quoted, said that he is the owner of the company, he would not honor the quote. After a thorough assessment of the work, he said the quote was too low, he wanted much more money and he left. Afterwards, a new price was reached and provided, I again emailed him the Scope of Work the second time before he showed up to do the work a few days later.

At this moment and months had gone by , and despite my several requests by emails and phone calls , he didn't finish grinding the stumps as per the Scope of Work and wanted to be paid, and said he had referred the matter to a collection agency. He was very unprofessional.3J 3G1

Had these guys come to bid a big evergreen in my in-laws' front yard, between their place and the neighbor's house. They were quick and professional, and left the yard looking nice as could be. They also pruned back an out of control laurel hedge as an add-on. Painless experience. Would definitely use them again.
