Big Ben's Junk Removal

Jacqueline is great to work with. When I call for a bin I get one and it gets delivered in the window that is given to me. The drivers are efficient and friendly. The 5 stars are well earned.

I had a pile of concrete and brick sitting around for years. Didn't know how to take care of it, what bins to get, or what can go together. Big Ben answered my phone call late on a friday afternoon and answered all my questions. Now my yard is clean.

Not a lot to say for a bin. But Big Ben delivered the bins on time, picked up on time, they were competitively priced and provided polite service. I've used them before and will use them again.

Great experience with Big Ben's! They dropped the my garbage renovation bin at the exact time we agreed to with less than 24 hours notice, and were very responsive for the pickup as well. Highly recommend!

They dropped the bin off within the scheduled window. They came to pick it up at the agreed to time however my contractor was behind schedule. For a small additional fee, the driver waited the extra hour so we could finish the job.

Ben came to my house within 30 minutes of my first call to them. It was tricky for me to know exactly how big a bin I needed and what would fit in the alley behind my house without blocking it and cheesing off my neighbours. He gave me exactly the right advice. They were able to deliver and pick up on a Saturday exactly as I wanted. The guy that delivered the bin was super-friendly and put literally within 6 inches of where I wanted it. Even the person who answered the phone was friendly and helpful. If all contractors were this good then life would be much much easier.

Ben and his crew arrived on time, set up the bin, and did the removal job quickly [which was huge], with a minimum of fuss and disruption. They even cleaned up for me! Definitely planning to get them back in for round 2.

Ben and his team removed a hot tub. It had to be cut into pieces due to space in between two houses in Toronto.

His team worked quickly and it was done at a cost that was reasonable - generally in line with other junk removal companies (+ or - $50). Ben also disconnected the hot tub safely and removed interlocking brick from backyard.

Service - 10 / 10. Done on budget. Showed up on time. Completed within a few hours.

Clean - Up - 9 / 10. They removed all large debris from hot tub demolition. There were a few small fragments of insulation (less than a cm in diameter). I am picky.

I recommended Big Ben and would have no hesitation using them again for other projects at my home.

No BS junk removal service. The customer service was better than expected and the drop-off / pick-up was done promptly and when promised. They lay out the expectations clearly ahead of time regarding what and how much can go in the bin, follow that and you won't have any problems.

Tip: Err on the side of going larger if you're unsure about what size to choose... The reno debris I was throwing away filled it up surprisingly quickly.
