I have yet to have such shoddy customer service with a vendor & manufacturer until now. Greenway Home Products (GHP Group) has done nothing regarding a valid warranty on a water cooler that we purchased legally from one of their vendors well within their 2 year warranty. Within 3 months of purchase and installation by a licensed plumber, their Vitapur point of use cooler caused a flood due to a defective float. I contacted them numerous times without a good response. For 3 months I attempted to email, call and even mail a complaint in to their customer service department, to which I finally received 2 responses. I received an RMA for the unit, to which, within 30 days did not receive the replacement unit. So, I contacted them again, and after 4 tries, finally got a customer service representative who created yet another RMA to which they promised a unit to be shipped out - and again, nothing to this date, 2 more months later.
I strongly recommend against dealing with ANY GHP Group products after this ordeal with them. I received no help whatsoever and even after contacting the company I purchased them from, wayfair.ca, still received no further help.
If this is how they do business, ship your garbage out the door with empty promises of service & warranty, then they should be looked at for faulty business practices. We are a business who looks after our thousands of customers with pride and yes, at times it can be difficult because products fail time to time, but its a part of business. For GHP Group to assume no responsibility to this defect and not stand behind their warranty is quite honestly thievery on their part.
Shame on you, and I strongly recommend going to a local dealer for better service, even if you pay a little more, at least then you can talk with someone face to face or at least get a call in where they will answer you within 48 hours.
I hope they receive this and I hope many other see this because this is despicable.
