We were preparing a very rundown bungalow for sale that had been inhabited by heavy smokers as well as wayward cats. It reeked, to be honest, and was almost entirely wallpapered. Vern's crew did a great job of removing the wallpaper and fake brick in the kitchen (which meant fixing the plaster beneath) and repainting the entire house inside and out, including ceilings and some of the basement flooring that was in bad shape. They used special paint that completely eliminated the foul smells, and Vern helped to choose beautiful neutral colours that really complemented the new flooring, fireplace brick etc., while painting all the worn-out varnished wood trim a sparkling white that made it look clean and modern. Outside, the discoloured formerly white siding also needed to be fixed, and Vern's suggestion to repaint it in a light taupe that complemented the brick , as well as a deep brown for the formerly black doors and shutters, made it look like a whole new house, with great curb appeal! We were delighted with the results, and the house sold for over asking price after two days on the market.
