Karl with a K, as he introduces himself, has revived my belief in true customer service. I understand companies of this magnitude need to make money, but he offered a wealth of information for free. This included air circulation tips, filters, carbon monoxide alarm placement in the home, and after saying to not worry about it, he used batteries from his own flashlight to replace the AA`s in my thermostat. I didn`t even know my thermostat had batteries. Instead of him pressing the buttons, he said he wasn`t going anywhere until I`m comfortable with using my thermostat, so he sat at my table and let me press the buttons, and I honestly felt so much better. In a very competitive business, Karl`s professionalism is second to none. This company has never sent a bad technician to my residence but with Karl in my home for an hour and a half, I learned so much about not just my furnace, but my home as a whole. The one reason I`m writing this, is because he said `as technicians in and out of peoples homes all year long, it`s easy to think of this as another call, but we need to remember you live here. You celebrate birthdays and holidays here, so I don`t think we should rush through a call` That may not be word for word, but Karl gave me such peace of mind knowing he cares about my furnace as much as I care about it getting me through a winter.
