Our gas fireplace was very sooty and it seemed the logs were actually burning at times. Scott came the first time and told us we needed a new log set and that he required a very special vacuum cleaner in order not to distribute the fine black dust all over the house. On his second visit, he installed a new log set, adjusted the gas valves, cleaned inside, and polished the window. Now the fireplace works properly and looks like new!
