James and Isaac came by to help me with some safety concerns that were raised during a home inspection. They addressed all the concerns, were patient and courteous, and answered my many questions about the process.

During their work, what initially seemed like a small problem in one area of my home revealed itself to be a much larger problem. They explained the situation and helped me understand what the next steps would be, complete with approximate durations and costs of that job.

I would absolutely work with Groves Electric again and fully intend to in the future.

Cole explained all proposed placement and wiring work for the installation of 14-4 LED slimline pots in our recroom. Groves did a previous job for us in our family room 3 years prior. We were quoted a price a day after my request and the work was completed the following week. Again, Cole and Jake were so professional and did an outstanding job in their days work.

TLDR version: They were kind, professional, experienced, and efficient. They did a great job. I would hire them again and I would recommend them to anyone seeking electrical work.

I needed a service panel upgrade in preparation for an EV charger, to be installed later, from 100Amps to 200Amps. Greg contacted me promptly through the HomeStars Service Request site, and set up an initial meeting for a quote. He arrived early for that meeting and and was able to give a complete quote along with some free advice after only 10 minutes even though 3o minutes were scheduled for the appointment. He was nice, answered all of my questions, and even gave me some free advice. I received quotes from other electricians but they were not as thorough, which made me hire Groves for this job. The office staff were kind and also dealt with the utility directly, saving me some of the hassle. On the day of the install, Dave and one other technician arrived, early, and got everything ready for the upgrade while waiting on the utility to shut the service off. They also brought a generator Once the utility arrived, the technicians worked quickly and efficiently while answering some of my questions. They were finished in just over 4 hours and were very thorough. They even tested and labelled the new panel accurately, making any future electrical work much easier and safer. I would choose them again for future electrical work I need and I would highly recommend them to others.

I recently used Groves Electric Inc. for the wiring of additional kitchen appliances, outlets, ceiling pot lights, an externally vented range hood in my modest kitchen reno, as well as the transition from 125 amp fuse box to a 200 amp circuit breaker panel.
On several days, Dave, Will and Pat arrived at 8:00 am from Branchton, On, to work til 6 or even 8, as well as during a March snowstorm. They were an efficient, knowledgeable and steady working team, professional and courteous, correcting any imperfections their colleagues had made and that I might not notice. Excellent service! I could not be happier! The team arrived on time, were very friendly and knowledgeable and quickly completed my list of small electrical jobs that needed to be done including repairing my laundry room light, disconnecting an old alarm system/doorbell, replacing old light switches and replacing wired smoke alarms. Cody and Jake did outstanding work, adding new receptacle and switches, they went above and beyond by finding a live wire hanging loose and fixing mess that another company had left behind, cleaned the area before they left and explained all the charges on the invoice. Would happily recommend.

The guys we had were great and very courteous. Started off with introducing themselves, asked whether or not it was okay to keep their shoes on, and made sure I was satisfied with the work before they left. They even vacuumed up the dust from the drywall that was on the floor after the work was done. I would definitely recommend.

Installed some outdoor porch lights and two usb plugs for my home office. The electricians were great, fast, and incredibly helpful. Would definitely recommend.
