First General Services

All work was performed satisfactory however our dryer got damaged (dented on top corner-noticeable) from the painter in the laundry room.

Living room ceiling had to be scraped and inspected. There was no damage to the drywall, so drywall tape was resealed and ceiling was resprayed.

Nothing more. As per above. Their rep. came in at 3.30 AM to secure our two doors which was broken into by a burglar. Screwed the doors shut until a new door could be installed.

Overblew the entire job to start with. Took way too long to have the small job completed. 4 1/2 weeks for a $2000 repair job. Communication on what was going to be done was awful. Part of the paint job was not completed. Didn't really care if they had the job or not as they would just move on to the next. Only person that was friendly and helpful were the carpet people.

Very professional and easy to work with. All appointments were made promptly and reps arrived on time.

I highly recommend this company for any work you might be considering. They did excellent work and were very good at communication and keeping us informed every step of the way. The project manager "Pedro" came to our home several times to discuss our options and to offer solutions to issues as they arose. Very professional and on time which the completion which was critical for us.

I was very happy with First General. The staff are very professional and experienced. I will be using First General for up grades to be done in my home as well as recommending them to my family if need be.

I had a very bad experience with a previous contractor for my sewer back up. FIRST GENERAL was called in to take over last minute. Very friendly staff and mindful I have a new born sensitive to chemicals.
Very pleased, everything was completed within 6 weeks.

I was very pleased with how fast the services moved along and how friendly all the staff were at First General. This was a very good experience for me and I would definitely use First General again in the future if need be. Amazing work First General.

I had a flood insurance claim and my insurance company used First General as the project managers for the repairs. The two week job ended up taking over a month and when the project manager went on vacation all work stopped and did not start again till I escalated to their corporate office. The project manager was argumentative, never came to site to see any of my concerns, work was not finished when they said it was and had to argue to have them come back to finish all the deficiencies. I would not recommend them for any work and if your insurance company uses them go with someone else.
