My roof was damaged not only by the wind storm that hit in late 2011, but also by the numerous hail storms that we experience in Calgary. Meerkat staff was informative, friendly, knowledgeable and experienced. This was the first time I had ever needed to get any roof repairs done and their support and expertise was invaluable to me during this process. I not only received my quote, but also great information on the shingles themselves. Their quote was competitive with the market, detailed and thorough. I was very impressed with the service provided by Meerkat in that their staff phoned me to tell me what was happening throughout the process. They notified me of material arriving, bins arriving and the date they expected to be at my house to repair it. There were no surprises at all. The crew that came to replace my roof were extremely hard workers. They came to do the job and did great work. They were friendly, hardworking and very courteous. They tarped the area around my house to catch any bits that blew off the roof, but they were also very careful to constantly go around checking that everything was ok. At the end of the first day, the area around my house was spotless. They removed the tarps and cleaned the area entirely. The notified me of their return time the next day, again, no surprises. The following day, they returned on time and re-tarped the whole area around my house. They finished by the end of the second day and left me with a gorgeous roof!
