Before deciding to use Cartier Kitchens, please do yourself a favour and read the following. I'll do my best not to editorialize and just stick to the facts.
We ordered a bathroom cabinet from them as they had installed the vanity and we wanted the same cupboard front and colour. We were told it would take 4 - 6 weeks and we'd be notified when it was ready. We realized when we got home the dimensions were too big and called the next morning first thing to get it changed (they were already closed for the day). We were told the size could not be changed under any circumstances ... even though it was less than 24 hours later. What we needed was to change the depth from 8 inches to 4 inches (as it was going directly above the toilet). We were told the best that could be done was they would cut it down once it was received by them. Also we had to pay the full cost up front so at this point we couldn't even walk away and just lose the deposit.
Ten weeks later we still hadn't received a call so my husband called and he was told the cabinet had come in the previous week however since we wanted it cut down, it hadn't been done, so therefore was not available yet for pick up. My husband asked that it be ready the following Monday and on that day we received a call saying it was ready.
If you are ok with paying upfront, in full, for something and then being at the company's mercy as to when it actually gets finished, then carry on ... if you are ok with not being able to make a change even if it's within 24 hours, then carry on ... if not, then think twice and keep looking.
We gave them one star because we did actually receive the cabinet and it does have the same front as our bathroom vanity. It's just too bad, for the next little while, every time I look at it I'll be reminded that not every company in the service business is created equal. Actually that is a lesson I am able to take away with me from this experience.
