Barcol Doors & Windows

Over the years we have had to call on Barcol to repair doors that are in a building that is 50 years old, this has been challenging at times as the parts are old and hard to get. Barcol has managed to solve any problem that we might have without fail. Overall experience has always been positive.

It is nice to be able to have a company that you can count on. They came when they said, profesionally installed our door, and are very knowlegable in their products. I highly recommend this company.

Kids broke one of the windows in our garage door. My wife went to Barcol Doors to get a replacement because they were the manufacturer of the door. The window was only 25 inches by 13 inches and she was charged almost $50. I later checked with another glass company and they said that size window would be sold by them for $17. I called back to Barcol to complain about the cost and got no satisfaction and was basically told to shove it.

Salesman was extremely knowledgeable about the products and listened to what I wanted. Other companies wanted to shorten our front door whereas I liked the added height. Barcol was honest and upfront about the costs and implications of choosing a taller door. My experience from start to finish was wonderful.

Barcol's service's exceeded my expectations for my garage door repair. The service tech was friendly and knowledgeable and had the door fixed in no time. I would reccomend Barcol to anyone considering a garage door repair or install.

After a less than spectacular experience with a different window and door company for the first half of our house we wanted to go with someone else for the 2nd half. We did our homework and listened to referrals and recommendations and then decided on Barcol. What should have been one installation date turned into 5 or 6 seperate times that someone had to be home to meet the installers and then the repair crews. First, they didn't bring the doors when they brought the windows , then they brought the main door but discovered the storm door hadn't been ordered yet, then they had to come do some repairs to scratched glass panes and window frames, one of the windows leaked because they missed a step in the install (which lead to us having to pull up carpet, clean up the water that leaked from the mainfloor window into the basement, be home yet again for someone to replace the damaged drywall, and then paint the room). Then they decided to charge our balance to the credit card we used for our deposit, without a heads up they were going to - after the installer didn't take our check because the work wasn't yet complete. That was a $4800 charge we weren't expecting to see on our credit card statement. The only saving grace in the end was that they actually addressed our problems and offered some compensation, which is more than I can say for the first company we dealt with.

I got 4 quotes to have a overhead door supplied and installed. I then throw out the hi and low quotes and research the two remaining quotes. and pick the one I am most comfortable with . the installer showed up 15 mins early and had the job finish in about 3 hours . the door works great he cleaned up the job site like he had not been there . a job well done.

Installation of 2 garage doors for a double car garage. Communication was good with the company and the installers were very professional. The salesperson was knowledgeable when we went into their showroom and we didn't feel any pressure from the sales.

The garage door to our home had stopped working. We tried everything to fix it ourselves to no avail. We called Barcol right away. They sent out the repairman the very same day. He was able to replace a part on the door for us thus elimanating the need to buy a new door. he gave us tips on what to do should the same thing happen again. would definitely reccomend them to family and friends.

Quick service. Good quality materials. The showroom isn't very helpful, mostly front doors and sliding doors but they do have garage doors. The installers were quite professional and came prepared. Definitely recommended.
