Morrison Homes allowed me to customize my new home to my tastes and preferences while still accomodating my budget needs.
Morrison design centre accommodated my kitchen design changes as well as Ensuite and Main floor modifications.
Morrison Homes understands what Quality Service is all about. Finishing in my McCarthy Home is a delight and appeals to any intruder visiting your home.

My wife and I had been looking for a new build starting in the fall of 2015. We toured all the builders in a number of different communities in North West Calgary.

With so many options in builders we were looking to find the differences between them all. The common element that we found at all show homes was the friendly attentive staff in Morrison Homes.

We chose a home in Nolan Hill base on the experience that we had with Angela and Brian. We met Angela in September and when we came back in January she remembered our names and what we were looking for. That same day we made an offer on a quick possession home that is exactly what we were looking for.

Brian and Angela were over the top with open communication and making it an easy process to make sure that we knew what was going on all the way in the process.

If I do ever move I will look to Morrison again. If I know that some one is looking for a new home I will have no hesitation in directing them to Brian and Angela and the rest of the Morrison Homes Team. Thank you for all your hard work.

We had been searching for a builder to create our forever home for over a year. In October 2015 we went to view homes in Nolan hill nw Calgary. There we met Angela and Brian the Morrison homes sales associates. We felt at ease with them both right away. We chose to build with Morrison because of the way we were treated by them also the exceptional reputation Morrison has. Since we signed to build Brian and Angela have helped us thru each phase even when we panic at times. We couldn't ask for better people to guild us thru our first home build for our forever home. Our build is expected to be completed by July/ August 2016 and at this point I would highly recommend Brian, Angela and Morrison to anyone who is looking to build !!

I recently moved into my second home built by Morrison Homes. I cannot express my voice of recognition enough for the superior quality of work Morrison homes provides.

During the design phase I was provided with true experts in the field to gather advice and suggestions specific to my house plan. I was supported through the entire design phase and truly felt encouraged with each choice I made. Specifically, Amy from the selections department was a pleasure to work with during the interior selections process.

In the building stage Mike was amazing to have as a site superintendent. He kept me informed the entire process and was able to answer any questions that I had. He made himself available when I inquired about the process and tentative timelines.
Once I moved in to my house I was blown away with the superior craftsmanship evident in my house. I noticed every detail was attended to and the house was more than I imagined. Whenever I have visitors over, they often comment on how well the house shows. I have only had a few minor post-possession service issues but Morrison Homes has speedily and effectively taken care of them.

I would not hesitate to recommend Morrison Homes to any family or friend. I feel they are among the building leaders in Calgary and it was a pleasure building with them.

Throughout the process of building my home the staff were incredible, I was over the moon about my experience and didn't understand all the horror stories of builders. But all this changed once I received my keys. It became a challenge to contact anyone, or receive responses. The list of items to be fixed created on my walk through all still remain to be fixed, minus one item, within the 4 months that I have had my house. I had an electrical issue one evening and contacted the warranty ladies and they told me they called the company who would come fix the problem but the shop was closed for the night and I would have to wait until the morning, I called the company myself that evening and someone answered right away, the information I received from the warranty ladies was not true. I could go on, but overall I would not recommend Morrison to anyone. Once they got my money, I was no longer on anyone's radar.

As I am reading these reviews, I realize that I encountered many of the frustrations with the design centre and the build quality and service with grade etc.

Sales staff were incredible and worth 10 stars...... everyone else not so much. I consider myself a very understanding and patient person which is way I did not review earlier.

The story is not over and I look forward to Morrison stepping up and fixing some of the issues with foundation crack and concrete pads..(largest concern everything else is minor).

I guess my current review would suggest Morrison had issues within the last couple of years on many levels. Still love the home but worry what is to come.

Review documents and expect struggles with design and warranty.

My wife and I have built a couple of homes in the past and can not tell you how happy we are with our new Morrison Home. We moved in just over 8 months ago and continue to have excellent service this is why I felt the need to share our experience with other people who may be looking to build a new home. I work with a commercial painting company here in the city and was very happy when I was told they would allow sweat equity, painting my own home was great and much appreciated. The site supervisor Tyler was excellent to deal with, we ran into him numerous times during our many visits to the home while under construction and he was always willing to take the time and chat with us, we were never made feel like an inconvenience. When we took possession of our new home we were worried about timing only because we only had a couple of days to move out of our current home before the new owners were moving in, we were feeling a bit rushed to say the least. I knew that our possession meeting could take awhile from our past building experiences but when we arrived we were so impressed the house was in move in condition. There were a few minor items that still needed to be dealt but Tyler and our service person Randy were already on top of it, they had already been through the home and made notes, they had even pointed out items that we hadn't noticed. The few items that did need require attention were dealt with in a timely manor and did not affect us at all from moving in that afternoon. With being in the construction industry myself I understand that there are always bumps in the road but how this company deals with those bumps is what makes for a great experience. Without doubt I would highly recommend anyone who is looking to build a new home to seriously consider Morrison Homes!

Morrison Homes completed our new home in November 2015 after an approximately 10 month process. Overall, the service from all of the Morrison staff was excellent, and each step we felt like we were being well looked after. After possession, we had a few minor issues spring up and the warranty staff were good in the process. Issues with any new home are inevitable, it's a matter of how expediently they're dealt with that sets different builders apart. They continue to be focused on ensuring that we're happy and looking after any other minor deficiencies that spring up. Overall we would recommend Morrison Homes to any of our friends or family.

I built my very first home with Morrison Homes.

Because I was new to the whole building process, they explained everything to me thoroughly so that I would understand the entire process and what was expected of me.

I don't have any complaints and I'm very happy with my home. I can see why Morrison has such a great reputation in this city. They truly do care about their customers and it showed. I would definitely recommend them and will most likely build with them again.
