1/2 windows and doors of a large size home
I bought a home with 1/2 of the windows and doors replaced by Loyal Seal Windows by the previous owner. After 1 month, I found 1 set of 4 panel windows leaking. After some additional investigation as we had several raining days in October, 2013, I found the source of the leak.
Loyal Seal Windows leak. Let me repeat, Loyal Seal Windows leak. And COMPANY DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT EVEN IF YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY TO REPLACE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT.
I got Loyal seal windows contact from the previous owner. When I first called them, they indicated I should email them. I did, with attached photo. No one replied after 1 week. Then I called again, and the receptionist said someone will read my email. No reply after another 10 days. Then, I emailed them again, finally a representative called me.
After finding out that I am not the original owner who had the windows done, she indicated that the warranty does not apply. I understand why they would do this to minimize cost, but when you buy a second hand car, if there is defective or manufacture recall, the manufacture covers it. Anyways, I simply asked that it would be appropriate if someone comes over to take a look. If the defective window isn't covered, to be consistent with other windows, I could still replace that, most likely at my own cost. The representative indicated that it is a $120 for a service call to come and take a look. Then, I specifically told her that I will pay for a defective window but please come and look at it first to verify without the service call charge. Loyal Seal was not willing.
Also, 2nd week of November was quite windy, on the 2nd floor, another set of Loyal Seal windows had very strong cold draft coming from it. I went to a set of old windows on the same floor facing the same side, and there is no cold draft.
Loyal Seal does not stand behind their product. Their window leaks. This is consistent with several other reviews that you will find here. AND, they won't even help if you are willing to pay. Quite unbelievable. I give them 1 star because the representative on the phone called me, and returned my call, and answered my questions.

Dear Mr. Wang,
As you are not our customer we are at no obligation to provide you with free service. Due to high volume of false alarm service requests we charge a minimal fee to send a service technician to examine a problem. In order to minimize unnecessary costs to OUR clients we request pictures and an email describing the problem. Just by viewing your photo, it is absolutely clear that you are experiencing condensation issues (NOT leaking windows). During the winter months when humidity in the home is high and the temperature outside is very low, it is normal to experience condensation on the inside surface of the glass, especially when you have window covers such as shutters. The water drips to the bottom of the window and leaves marks on the frame (as evident in your own pictures which you have attached)
Thank you
