Great costumer service from sales team and warranty team but house quality is compromised specially, insulation of house is really bad. Overall, good experience if they can improve some of things in future.

I purchased a home with excel and took possession of the
property in 2022, after promises of getting issues repaired
which i have been working on for a long time i decided to
start a full inspection of what i bought vs what i got, after
checking what i was promised and paid for it turned out
what i received was very different, even to the point that the
documents for my home submitted to the town are false
and incorrect, for example my Hvac system that was
submitted to the town and what i have in the home are
different, the brochure i was given for the home which
states full HVAC system with smart stat- not there i had to
install separately, now to my latest finding of an expensive
kitchen upgrade for larger pots and pan drawers and taller
wall cabinets what i have received is different and now I'm
being told its industry standard well that's crap, not to mention the 2 years to have things rectified and still waiting
for things to be done, to contractors trashing my home
when they come to do repair work, avoid this place at all
costs as all they want is you money, i have evidence of
everything i have listed here but nope they still have a
reason to not honor it.

I had shopped around before going with excel homes at Carrington location. They had the floor plans with my requirements. Tyler and Jen are the most knowledgeable and helpful sales professionals. They guided and helped me to customize upgrades within the budget. Always there to answer my questions and providing clarity. Amazing people!
Justin, the construction supervisor was also amazing and after the pre board walk when I got to meet him, I knew my home was in good hands. He took care of the little things that mattered to me.
I am happy and pleased with excel and enjoying my house!

I feel like better fittings could been used in the bathrooms without going out of budget. Like shower heads with hand-held would be more practical especially when cleaning. Mirrors could have been better installed. The size of the bathroom is primary bed could be bigger especially seeing as the sink counter top takes up so much unnecessary space.

I am quite impressed at Excel Homes building outcomes and coordination. The concierge services was a great problem relief from settlement.

Overall, we had a great experience building with Excel Homes at Silver Spruce SW, Calgary. The sales representative (Kent) was very knowledgeable, professional, accommodating and courteous throughout the building process.

We liked the fact that we had the opportunity to select all our upgrades before we firmed the deal which in turn help us to locked in our budget and save us the stress of countless appointments.

Overall, we loved our home despite some few imperfections in the garage concrete and driveway. The design meets our current needs and the space was well utilized.

The post possession team have been great so far and the only service we wish could be added is touch painting at the 3 months post possession appointment.

If we have to do this all over again, Excel Homes will still be our first choice and we won't trade Kent - Sales Representative for anyone else.

Starting with the sales Center, at first everything seems wonderful. After deposits are wrapped up, things started to be missed, duel zone thermostats being our biggest one. Opps is all we got. Reading the contracts after you make changes is time consuming, yet its a must because they say one thing and then do another. This is explicitly a lack of knowledge from the sales staff, and customer service is nonexistent when you have paid.

We didnt have glass in my master bathroom shower on move in. When it was installed, they drilled the hoses in the wrong place and smashed out tile to fix. The inconvenience this causes alone after move in is crazy.

We have had a pot filler installed that stoped working on the coldest days in March and then started working again after it warmed up. I believe the only thing that would cause this is freezing. After hounding they have documented this. But again, will they fix when it freezes and floods a brand new home?

If you are wanting to do any sort of landscaping be prepared to be given the run around over and over again. Once this builder has your money for the sale of the home they drag there feet to the point summers almost over and your unable to do anything despite taking possession in early January and have a solid 5 months of good weather to be able to preform these items.
I believe this is next to criminal, as you have paid in full for something that needlessly takes months to rectify.

Your lot will be left a mess, with garbage, construction debris and beer cans for you to find come spring.

The site superintendent does the best he can with what he has to work with.

I cannot stress this enough for anyone looking to buy in cobblestone creek with excell homes. Do not waste your time, the emotional exhaustion will do nothing but ruin your experience trying to get them to Finnish a home that you will cost you a small fortune.

Its sad that builders this day and age, cannot seem to deliver a good, timely project and complete what they say they will complete in a timely manner.
