Surlang Roofing just completed a beautiful job of re-doing my roof. This was not a simple shingling job - it was what is called a "cedar conversion" meaning that about 120 cubic yards of 24-year-old 5/8" re-sawn cedar shakes and other materials had to be ripped off, almost 190 sheets of new plywood installed, then sheathing paper and about 65 squares of new GAF Ultra HD shingles applied. As well, there is almost 300 feet of enclosed gutters, and over 500 feet of new metal trim over the fascia boards. A massive undertaking, especially in the iffy weather during July this year, with cycles of two dry days then a day of rain. But Matt the crew chief and his crew figured out a clever way to get the job done without getting a drop of rain into the house.
Matt's attention to detail is extraordinary and shows in the results. I could not be happier! And, to top it off, they did the job for about $4000 less than the estimate! So many companies would just keep that cash, and give you a bill for the estimated amount, plus add in a bunch of "extras". Not the case with Surlang! You want your roofing dollar to go into your roof, not into having it paying for some other roofer's advertising, so you need to be smart and call Surlang right now!
I have worked in construction and renovations since 1966, and can tell good work from sloppy work and know right away if someone is trying to cut corners and get away with something. But with Surlang, it's all top quality workmanship and materials. You just can't get better work done than this!

Thank you Kathleen, the weather was a bit of a pain for July for sure, but the job turned out great and you were very accommodating and helpful throughout.
