Found a nice size crack in my basement, called a few places and The Crack Specialists were very quick to call us back and were out for a quote the next day. Within the week Melanie came out to fix the crack and within 2 hours she had fixed it and cleaned up like nothing was there despite my dog bugging her. Great service, would highly recommend Melanie, she was very friendly and even gave my kids a Kitchener Rangers calendar and some Crack Specialist bandaids...they got a kick out of it!

After arranging for the repair with the head office Melanie arrived on time on the arranged day and made quick work of the repair. She was knowledgeable and took some time to explain the procedure. The work area was left nice and clean. Lifetime guarantee on the repair! Nicely done and highly recommend this company. Very professional to deal with and well organized.

I had work done about 18 years ago by The Crack Specialist , noticed water marks about 2 weeks ago close by the area that was repaired . Called The Crack Specialist and Wes ( owner / estimator ) came out told me it was under warranty and the following week Melanie came out with a helper and they fixed the problem . If you every needed a reason to use The Crack Specialist I would say honoring a job that was done 18 year ago , that would be it .

So, it was natural to reach out once again for my current home when I discovered a similar issue with a basement foundation crack.
I've been on this planet long enough to notice the degradation in customer service with most companies both digital and physical. It was an absolute pleasure to deal with The Crack Specialists from start to finish. Phone etiquette was exceptional. The estimate by Wes was straightforward and quick and he was able to schedule us in quite quickly. As an aside...I expected the cost of this service to easily double if not triple over the 15 year period since needing their services. When I was quoted the work I couldn't help but question why it was still incredibly affordable (all things considered). The explanation made sense and of course involved their commitment to their customers.
Lastly, Melanie and her partner did an AMAZING job. We knew there was going to be destruction involved in order to access the crack in a finished basement. Not only did Melanie work wonders to create a space that would make repairs easier, she left our home as clean as she found it. Not a spec of dust remained behind. And the work was almost overshadowed by her personality! Very friendly and willing to take the time to explain anything if we had any questions or concerns.
