Decorating Connections Inc No Longer In Business

I just read some of the reviews and had to add my own experience. My husband and I are building a new home ourselves in bowmanville. We have dealt with a great number of trades and have a great deal of experience with home renovations. Decorating Connections has been a refreshing change from what we have been dealing with. Donna has helped us choose all our colors, tiles & floors and I have never had more compliments in my life. She has been there everytime I've needed her and never makes me feel like she doesn't have time for me. She has been absolutely amazing. Everytime we had a problem, she knew exactly what we could do to fix it. Donna and her team also helped us sell our old house. She picked out all the colors, tiles and refinished our hardwood. She even came and helped us stage the house. The house sold in two days for 95% of the asking price. I would refer her with confidence. She has the kind of work ethic you don't see very often anymore. Thank you to Donna and her team for making our dream home a reality.

Last year our home flooded from the top down and everything was destroyed. We were able to choose the company we wanted for the renos. Had heard from friends that Decorating Connections was an excellent choice so we went through them for a full kitchen renovation and new hardwood flooring.
Donna was on-site the minute that flood clean-up was complete. The beautiful kitchen layout was drafted and reviewed by us in less than three days and the installers were on-site and ready at 7am the next week. Due to the flood damage, we were not living in the home while the work was being done. Nonetheless, the place was left clean and tidy at the end of every day. We popped in late at night to check progress (thinking noone would be there) and one staff was working well into the night to get the job done!
The entire job was complete within estimated timelines and we were extremely satisfied.

Donna, the owner is a nice lady that stays away from confrontation and sends her staff to sort it out.The assigned staff don't communicate with client.Poor measurements(by them)caused a further 8 week delay.Living out of boxes is not fun.Installer a very nice accomodating man that was hamstrung by poor administration practises.In the end we were satisfied at the look and quality of the cabinets but this company needs to get their act together.
