Be careful. One of the draftsperson cost us a hefty sum in fines with our builder. Unfortunately this is the firm the builder uses for their plans, so we had no choice of going elsewhere. We signed off on the construction plans and a week later found out that the vented range hood I wanted installed in the kitchen couldn't be positioned in the interior wall because of the height of the ceiling, so the kitchen floor plan had to be changed. Why didn't DMD know that? From the very first draft we received there were changes made (that I didn't ask for). Out of 22 things I did want changed on the plan, only one was done. Don't know why they missed the 21 I requested. No explanation as to why as the communication between them and ourselves was through a builder rep. The only thing right was the size of the deck. We were charged over $1900 for the plans and all the changes, most of which were a result because they were wrong in the first place. You're better off finding a plan, sitting down with an architect and going over everything. In hindsight we should have gone to a friend that does architectural drawings for other builders. He would have sat down with us, gone over everything and then we could have taken those plans to our builder and by-passed this firm.
